MOMENTUM UDT Solar Analog-Digital Watch

Model: 063AACCBK-AB-B-BH-B-AUK-AB-AA-A-A-B

Introduction

This manual provides essential instructions for the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your MOMENTUM UDT Solar Analog-Digital Watch. Please read this manual thoroughly to ensure proper use and to maximize the lifespan of your timepiece.

Setup

1. Initial Charging

Your UDT watch is equipped with solar charging capabilities. Before initial use, expose the watch face to a strong light source (natural sunlight is ideal) for several hours to ensure it is sufficiently charged. Avoid covering the watch face for extended periods to maintain charge.

2. Setting Time and Date

Refer to the diagram below for button identification. The watch features both analog and digital displays. The digital display can be used to set the time and date for both displays.

  1. Analog Time Setting: Pull the crown (usually located at the 3 o'clock position) out to the first or second click (depending on model, refer to specific watch diagram if available). Rotate the crown to set the analog hands. Push the crown back in to secure the setting.
  2. Digital Time/Date Setting: Use the mode button (often labeled 'B' or 'MODE') to cycle through the digital display modes until you reach the time setting mode. Use the adjust button (often labeled 'A' or 'ADJUST') to select the digit to be set, and the increment/decrement buttons (often 'C' and 'D') to change the values. Confirm settings by pressing the mode button again or waiting for the watch to exit setting mode automatically.

3. Adjusting the Strap

The Hyper Rubber strap can be adjusted for a comfortable fit. If your strap requires resizing, it may involve cutting the strap or adjusting the buckle position. For precise instructions, consult a professional watch technician or refer to specific strap adjustment guides if provided with your watch packaging.

Operating Instructions

1. Digital Display Functions

The UDT watch features a versatile digital display. Use the Mode button (typically 'B') to cycle through the following functions:

  • Time (12/24H): Displays current time in either 12-hour or 24-hour format.
  • Day/Month/Date: Shows the current day, month, and date.
  • Second Time Zone (T2/GMT): Allows tracking of a second time zone.
  • Alarm: Set a daily alarm.
  • Chronograph/Stopwatch: Measure elapsed time with start, stop, and reset functions.

To adjust settings within each mode (e.g., setting an alarm time), typically press the Adjust button (typically 'A') to enter setting mode, then use the Increment/Decrement buttons (typically 'C' and 'D') to change values.

2. Luminescence (C3 Swiss Super-LumiNova)

The watch hands and markers are coated with C3 Swiss Super-LumiNova paint, providing excellent visibility in low-light conditions. Exposure to light (natural or artificial) will charge the luminous material, causing it to glow in the dark. The intensity and duration of the glow depend on the exposure time and light source strength.

3. Water Resistance

Your MOMENTUM UDT watch is rated for 200 meters (660 feet) of water resistance. This makes it suitable for swimming, snorkeling, and recreational diving. Important: Ensure the crown is fully pushed in and any pushers are not operated while the watch is submerged or wet. Water resistance is not a permanent condition and may be affected by aging gaskets or accidental shocks to the crown or pushers.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning Your Watch

To clean your watch, wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn dirt, especially on the strap, a mild soap solution can be used, followed by rinsing with fresh water (only if the crown is fully secured) and drying thoroughly. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

2. Solar Charging Best Practices

For optimal performance, ensure your watch receives regular exposure to light. While artificial light can charge the watch, natural sunlight is more efficient. Avoid prolonged storage in dark places to prevent the battery from fully depleting. If the watch stops due to lack of charge, expose it to strong light for several hours to reactivate it.

3. Strap Care

The Hyper Rubber strap is durable but can be affected by extreme temperatures, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, or harsh chemicals. Clean the strap regularly to remove sweat and dirt, which can degrade the material over time.

Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Watch not running or digital display blank.Insufficient charge.Expose the watch face to strong light (preferably sunlight) for several hours.
