3. Setup

3.1 Initial Pairing with iPhone

  1. Charge your Apple Watch: Connect the magnetic charging cable to your Apple Watch and a USB-C power adapter (sold separately). Allow it to charge until it powers on.
  2. Power On: Press and hold the side button until the Apple logo appears.
  3. Bring iPhone Close: Place your Apple Watch near your iPhone. An Apple Watch pairing screen will appear on your iPhone. Tap 'Continue'.
  4. Position Watch: Center your Apple Watch in the viewfinder on your iPhone.
  5. Follow On-Screen Instructions: Complete the pairing process by following the prompts on both your Apple Watch and iPhone. This includes setting up a passcode, installing apps, and configuring settings.

4.1 Basic Navigation

  • Digital Crown: Rotate to scroll, zoom, or adjust values. Press once to go to the watch face or app list. Double-press to switch between your last two apps. Press and hold for Siri.
  • Side Button: Press once to open the Dock (recent apps). Double-press for Apple Pay. Press and hold for Emergency SOS or to power off.
  • Touch Display: Tap to select, swipe to navigate, force touch for additional options (if available).

4.2 Staying Connected

With your Apple Watch, you can receive notifications, make and receive calls, and send messages directly from your wrist when connected to your iPhone or a Wi-Fi network.

6. Battery Life and Charging
