3. Package Contents

The INTERPHONE AERIAL Doppio package includes the following items:

  • 2 x Control Units (Intercom devices)
  • 2 x Charging Cables
  • Multiple Adhesive Mounts (for helmet attachment)
  • 2 x Microphone Sponges (wind filters)

4. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to install your INTERPHONE AERIAL intercom on your bicycle helmet:

  1. Choose Mounting Location: Select a flat, smooth area on the side of your helmet, preferably near your ear, where the intercom unit can be securely attached without obstructing your vision or helmet functionality.
  2. Clean Surface: Ensure the chosen area on the helmet is clean and dry. Use an alcohol wipe if necessary and allow it to dry completely.
  3. Attach Adhesive Mount: Peel the protective backing from one of the adhesive mounts. Firmly press the mount onto the cleaned helmet surface for at least 30 seconds. Allow the adhesive to cure for several hours (ideally 24 hours) before attaching the intercom unit.
  4. Attach Intercom Unit: Once the adhesive mount is secure, align the intercom unit with the magnetic bracket on the mount. The unit will snap into place magnetically. Ensure it is firmly seated.
  5. Position Microphone: Adjust the flexible microphone arm so that the microphone is positioned close to your mouth, ideally just to the side, to optimize voice clarity and minimize wind noise. Apply a microphone sponge for additional wind noise reduction.
  6. Speaker Placement: The open-ear design means the speakers are positioned near your ears, not directly over them, to allow ambient sound perception. Ensure they are comfortably aligned.
