The dash cam supports loop recording, which automatically overwrites the oldest unlocked files when the memory card is full. A 64GB SD card is included, and the system supports up to 256GB.

Setup and Installation

Proper installation is crucial for optimal performance. Follow these steps carefully.

1. Insert SD Card

The 64GB SD card is typically pre-installed. If not, insert the SD card into the designated slot on the main dash cam unit until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is formatted before first use (refer to Operating Instructions).

2. Mount the Front Dash Cam

  1. Clean the windshield area where you intend to mount the dash cam.
  2. Attach the suction cup mount to the dash cam.
  3. Press the suction cup firmly against the windshield, ensuring a secure attachment. Adjust the camera angle to capture the road ahead clearly.

3. Install the Rear Camera

  1. Identify a suitable location on your rear windshield or license plate area for the rear camera.
  2. Connect the rear camera to the main dash cam unit using the provided extension cable. Route the cable discreetly along the vehicle's interior trim.
  3. Secure the rear camera using the adhesive or screws provided. Ensure the camera has a clear view of the rear.

4. Connect Power

  • Standard Power (Car Charger): Plug the car charger into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket and connect the other end to the dash cam's power input.
  • Hardwire Kit (for 24H Parking Monitor): For continuous power and parking mode functionality, install the included hardwire kit. This typically involves connecting to your vehicle's fuse box. Professional installation is recommended if you are unfamiliar with vehicle electrical systems.

5. Install GPS Module

Connect the GPS module to the designated port on the main dash cam unit. Position the module where it has a clear view of the sky for optimal signal reception, typically on the dashboard or near the windshield.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

  • The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when connected to power and your vehicle starts.
  • It will automatically power off when the vehicle is turned off (unless hardwired for parking mode).
  • To manually power on/off, press and hold the power button.

Basic Recording

Once powered on, the dash cam automatically starts continuous loop recording. Video files are saved in segments (e.g., 1, 3, or 5 minutes) to the SD card. When the card is full, the oldest unlocked files are overwritten.

G-Sensor (Emergency Recording)

In the event of a sudden impact or collision, the built-in G-sensor will automatically detect the event and lock the current video segment, preventing it from being overwritten. These files are stored in a separate "Event" folder on the SD card.

Parking Monitor

If the dash cam is connected via the hardwire kit, the parking monitor function will activate when the vehicle is turned off. It will automatically record if motion or impact is detected, providing surveillance while parked.

WiFi & App Control ("VIIDURE" App)

  1. Download the "VIIDURE" app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
  2. Turn on WiFi on your dash cam (refer to device settings).
  3. On your smartphone, connect to the dash cam's WiFi network (SSID and password usually displayed on the dash cam screen or in the manual).
  4. Open the "VIIDURE" app to view live footage, browse recorded videos, download files to your phone, and adjust settings.

GPS Functionality

With the GPS module connected, your driving speed, route, and location data will be embedded into the video files. This data can be viewed using a compatible GPS player software on a computer or within the "VIIDURE" app.

Reversing Assist

When the vehicle is shifted into reverse, the dash cam's 3.16-inch screen will automatically display the rear camera feed with dynamic parking guidelines, assisting you in safe parking maneuvers.

Menu Navigation

Use the physical buttons on the dash cam to navigate through the menu options on the 3.16-inch screen. Common settings include video resolution, loop recording duration, G-sensor sensitivity, parking monitor settings, date/time, and SD card formatting.

Maintenance

  • Clean the Lenses: Regularly clean the front, interior, and rear camera lenses with a soft, lint-free cloth to ensure clear video quality.
  • SD Card Maintenance: Format the SD card monthly to prevent data corruption and ensure optimal recording performance. Back up important files before formatting.
  • Firmware Updates: Check the manufacturer's website periodically for firmware updates. Updating firmware can improve performance and add new features.
  • Storage: Store the dash cam in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
