4. Maintenance
4.1. General Care
Your Lacoste watch is crafted with attention to quality. To ensure its longevity:
- Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures or sudden temperature changes.
- Clean the watch regularly with a soft, damp cloth.
- A maintenance interval of 3 to 5 years is recommended, in addition to any required battery replacement.
- Never attempt to open the watch yourself, as this may void the warranty and damage internal components.
4.2. Water Resistance
This watch is water-resistant up to 100 meters (10 ATM). This means it is suitable for swimming and snorkeling. However, it is not designed for deep diving. The water resistance rating indicates pressure tolerance and not a safe submersion depth. Ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any water exposure.
5. Troubleshooting
If your watch is not functioning as expected, consider the following common issues:
- Display is blank or dim: The battery may need replacement. Contact an authorized service center.
- Time is incorrect: Refer to the "Setting Analog Time" and "Setting Digital Time" sections to re-adjust the time.
- Buttons are unresponsive: Ensure the watch is not in a locked mode (if applicable, though not a feature of this model). If issues persist, a reset might be needed by an authorized technician.
For complex issues, it is recommended to contact Lacoste customer support or an authorized service provider.
