3. Setup
Before using your JAM Buddy II, ensure it is adequately charged. Connect your electric guitar and power on the device.
3.1 Powering On/Off
Locate the power switch on the control panel. Toggle it to the 'ON' position to power on the device. The power indicator LED will illuminate. To power off, toggle the switch to 'OFF'.
3.2 Connecting Your Guitar
Insert your guitar's 6.35mm instrument cable into the 'INPUT' jack on the side of the JAM Buddy II.

3.3 Bluetooth Pairing
To connect a Bluetooth audio source (e.g., smartphone, tablet) for backing tracks:
- Ensure the Bluetooth switch on the JAM Buddy II is in the 'ON' position.
- On your audio device, enable Bluetooth and search for 'JAM BUDDY II'.
- Select 'JAM BUDDY II' to pair. The Bluetooth indicator LED on the unit will confirm connection.

3.4 OTG Connection for Recording
For direct recording to a phone or computer:
- Connect the supplied USB Type-C cable to the 'OTG' port on the JAM Buddy II.
- Connect the other end of the USB Type-C cable to your smartphone or computer.
- The device will be recognized as an audio interface, allowing for direct recording, live streaming, or content creation.

4.1 Knobs and Switches
- GUITAR.VOL: Adjusts the volume of your guitar.
- MUSIC.VOL: Adjusts the volume of the Bluetooth audio input.
- BASS/SAVE: Controls bass frequency. Press to save current settings.
- MID/TUNE: Controls mid-range frequency. Press to activate the tuner.
- TRE/D.CTRL: Controls treble frequency. Press to activate drum machine controls.
- GAIN/QUIT: Adjusts the gain level. Press to exit certain menus.
- RVB/D.VOL: Selects Reverb type and adjusts its parameters.
- DLY/D.TYPE: Selects Delay type and adjusts its parameters.
- MOD/D.SPEED: Selects Modulation effect type and adjusts its parameters.
- AMP/CH.VOL: Selects Amp Model and adjusts channel volume.
- Power Switch: Toggles the unit on/off.
- Bluetooth Switch: Toggles Bluetooth connectivity on/off.
4.2 Footswitches
- Right Footswitch (Channel): Switches between CLEAN and OVERDRIVE channels.
- Left Footswitch (Drive Mode): When in OVERDRIVE channel, switches between RHYTHM and LEAD sub-channels.
- Looper Control: Press both footswitches simultaneously to activate looper functions (record, stop, overdub, clear).
4.3 LED Display
The central LED display provides visual feedback on selected amp models, effects, drum patterns, tuner status, and parameter adjustments. The multi-function knobs (press & rotate) allow for intuitive navigation and fine-tuning of settings.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Amp Models & Effects
The JAM Buddy II offers 14 amp models and 9 built-in effects (Mod, Delay, Reverb) to shape your tone.
- Selecting Amp Models: Rotate the AMP/CH.VOL knob to browse through the 14 amp models displayed on the LED screen.
- Adjusting Tone: Use the BASS, MID, and TREBLE knobs for precise 3-band EQ control. The GAIN knob adjusts the input gain.
- Selecting Effects: Rotate the RVB/D.VOL, DLY/D.TYPE, or MOD/D.SPEED knobs to select and adjust parameters for Reverb, Delay, and Modulation effects respectively. Pressing these knobs allows for deeper parameter editing.
- Channels: The unit features 3 independent channels: Clean, Rhythm, and Lead. You can save custom tone and drum settings for each channel using the one-tap memory function (press BASS/SAVE knob).

- Drum Machine: The JAM Buddy II includes 36 drum patterns. Press the TRE/D.CTRL knob to access drum machine controls. Rotate the knob to select patterns, adjust volume, and tempo (BPM).
- Looper: The 30-second looper allows for improvisation and layering. Activate the looper by pressing both footswitches simultaneously.
5.3 Tuner
