  • Disconnect the battery pack from the appliance before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing the appliance.
  • Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to battery pack, picking up or carrying the appliance.
  • Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack.
  • Do not modify or attempt to repair the appliance or the battery pack.

Setup

Unpacking

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Check the packing list to ensure all parts are present and undamaged. Dispose of packaging materials responsibly.

Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your BSNAW XL-638B vacuum cleaner:

  1. Attach the motorized brush head to the bottom of the retractable metal tube. Ensure it clicks securely into place.
  2. Connect the other end of the retractable metal tube to the main motor unit. Again, ensure a secure click.
  3. Insert the detachable battery pack into the designated slot on the main motor unit until it locks.
  4. For handheld use, you can directly attach the 2-in-1 dusting brush or crevice nozzle to the main motor unit.

Charging the Battery

It is recommended to fully charge the battery before first use. The battery can be charged while attached to the main unit or separately.

  • Connect the adapter to a power outlet and then to the charging port on the battery pack (either on the main unit or detached).
  • The LED display will show a flashing white light during charging.
  • Once fully charged, the LED display will show a solid white light.
  • A full charge typically takes approximately 4 hours.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off and Suction Modes

  1. To power on the vacuum, press the power button located on the main motor unit. The vacuum will start in standard mode.
  2. The LED display will show the current battery percentage and the active suction mode.
  3. To switch between suction modes (Standard and Max), press the mode button on the LED display.
  4. To turn off the vacuum, press the power button again.

Using Attachments

The BSNAW XL-638B is designed for versatile cleaning with its various attachments:

  • Motorized Brush Head: Ideal for cleaning hard floors and carpets. The built-in LED lights will help illuminate debris.
  • Crevice Nozzle: Perfect for reaching tight spaces, corners, and edges, such as between sofa cushions or car seats.
  • 2-in-1 Dusting Brush: Use the brush mode for delicate surfaces like curtains or keyboards, and the flat nozzle for upholstery or car interiors.
  • Extension Tube: Use with the motorized brush head for floor cleaning, or with other attachments for high-reach areas like ceilings or cobwebs.

Cleaning Different Surfaces

  • Hard Floors: Use the motorized brush head in standard mode for daily cleaning. The LED lights will help identify dust and debris.
  • Carpets: For deeper cleaning on carpets, switch to Max suction mode. The V-shaped roller brush is designed to prevent tangling. (Note: Not suitable for shaggy carpets; only for high-density carpets under 10 mm in length).
  • Under Furniture: The flexible swivel design of the brush head and LED lights allow for easy cleaning under low-lying furniture.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your vacuum cleaner.

Emptying the Dustbin

  1. Ensure the vacuum is turned off and disconnected from power.
  2. Hold the main unit over a trash can.
  3. Press the dustbin release button (usually red) to open the bottom flap and empty the contents.
  4. Close the dustbin flap securely until it clicks.

Cleaning Filters

The filters should be cleaned regularly to maintain suction power. It is recommended to clean them after every 3-5 uses, or as needed.

  1. Twist and remove the dustbin from the main motor unit.
  2. Remove the HEPA filter and stainless steel filter from the dustbin.
  3. Tap the filters gently to remove loose dust and debris.
  4. Rinse the HEPA and mesh shell filters under running water until clean. Do not immerse the main motor unit in water.
  5. Allow all filter components to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reassembling.
  6. Once dry, install the filters back into the dustbin and reattach the dustbin to the main unit.

Cleaning the Roller Brush

Periodically check the roller brush for tangled hair or debris and clean as follows:

  1. Ensure the vacuum is turned off and disconnected from power.
  2. Locate the release tab or button on the side of the motorized brush head and open the side cover.
  3. Carefully remove the roller brush.
  4. Use the provided hair cleaning tool or scissors to cut and remove any tangled hair or fibers from the brush.
  5. Clean any debris from the brush head cavity. Do not immerse the motorized brush in water.
  6. Reinsert the clean roller brush and close the side cover until it clicks securely.

Troubleshooting
