2. Important Safety Information
Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury.

3. Setup
Unpacking and Placement:
- Carefully remove the toaster from its packaging.
- Remove all packaging materials, stickers, and accessories from inside and outside the toaster.
- Place the toaster on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, ensuring adequate ventilation around the unit.
- Ensure the power cord is not obstructed or touching any hot surfaces.
Initial Cleaning:
- Wipe the exterior of the toaster with a damp cloth.
- Wash the removable parts (grate, crumb tray, water tank cover, 5cc cup) with warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry completely.
- Insert the grate and crumb tray back into position.
Power Connection:
- Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
4. Operating Instructions
General Operation:
- Add Water (for Steam Modes): For modes requiring steam (Shokupan, Golden Toast, Pizza, Croissant), use the provided 5cc cup to pour water into the water inlet on the top of the toaster. Do not add water for Oven or Salamander Grill modes.
- Place Food: Open the door and carefully place your food item on the grate.
- Select Mode: Turn the left dial to select the desired cooking mode (Shokupan, Golden Toast, Pizza, Croissant, Oven, Salamander Grill). For Oven mode, select the desired temperature (350°F, 400°F, 450°F).
- Set Timer: Turn the right dial to set the cooking time. The indicator lights around the dial will illuminate to show the selected time.
- Start Cooking: The toaster will begin heating automatically once the timer is set.
- Completion: The toaster will emit a sound when cooking is complete and automatically turn off. Carefully remove the food using heat-resistant utensils.
Detailed Cooking Modes:
- Shokupan Mode: Ideal for sandwich bread. Add 5cc water. Recommended time: 2.5-3.5 minutes.
- Golden Toast Mode: For artisan breads like sourdough or rye. Add 5cc water. Recommended time: 3-4 minutes.
- Pizza Mode: Perfect for reheating pizza, bagels, or toast with toppings. Add 5cc water. Recommended time: 3-5 minutes.
- Croissant Mode: For pastries, baguettes, and rolls. Add 5cc water. Recommended time: 3-4 minutes.
- Oven Mode: For general baking. No water needed. Select 350°F, 400°F, or 450°F.
- Salamander Grill Mode: For powerful top-down heat, ideal for caramelizing or searing. No water needed.
Note: When heating frozen bread, add approximately 1-3 minutes to the recommended cooking time.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your toaster. Always unplug the toaster and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
Exterior Cleaning:
- Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
Interior Cleaning:
- Crumb Tray: Pull out the crumb tray from the bottom front of the toaster. Discard crumbs and wash the tray with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly before replacing.
- Grate: The cooking grate can be removed for cleaning. Wash with warm, soapy water, rinse, and dry completely.
- Water Inlet/Tank: Periodically clean the water inlet and tank area. Use a soft brush or cloth to remove any mineral deposits. Ensure no water remains in the tank when not in use for extended periods.
- Interior Walls: Wipe the interior walls with a damp cloth. For stubborn stains, a mild, non-abrasive cleaner can be used, followed by wiping with a clean, damp cloth.
