The running belt requires periodic lubrication to reduce friction and extend its lifespan. Use the provided silicone oil or a treadmill-specific lubricant. Apply lubricant under the running belt every 3-6 months, depending on usage.

  1. Turn off and unplug the treadmill.
  2. Loosen the rear roller bolts slightly to lift the belt.
  3. Apply a thin line of lubricant evenly across the center of the deck, under the belt.
  4. Tighten the rear roller bolts.
  5. Run the treadmill at a low speed (e.g., 1 MPH) for 5 minutes to distribute the lubricant.

If the running belt shifts to one side or slips, it may need adjustment. Use the hex wrench provided to turn the adjustment bolts at the rear of the treadmill. Turn clockwise to move the belt to the right, counter-clockwise to move it to the left. Adjust in small increments (1/4 turn) and test the belt after each adjustment.
