5. Setup

5.1 Initial Charging

1. Before first use, fully charge the device. Connect the USB charging cable to the charging port on the device and to a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, power bank, computer USB port).
2. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and typically change color or turn off when fully charged.
3. A full charge takes approximately 4 hours.

5.2 Attaching a Nozzle

1. Select the appropriate nozzle for your needs (standard, tongue cleaning, or orthodontic).
2. Insert the nozzle into the opening at the top of the device until it clicks securely into place.
3. To remove, press the nozzle release button (if present) and pull the nozzle out.

5.3 Filling the Water Tank

1. Open the water tank cover located on the back or side of the device.
2. Fill the 180ml tank with lukewarm water. You may also use a dentist-recommended mouthwash solution.
3. Close the water tank cover firmly to prevent leakage.

6. Operating Instructions

1. Power On: Press the power button to turn on the device.
2. Select Mode: Press the mode button (if separate) or cycle through modes using the power button (depending on model) to choose between Soft, Normal, or Pulse. The indicator light will show the selected mode.
3. Positioning: Lean over a sink and place the nozzle tip into your mouth, aiming it at your gumline at a 90-degree angle. Close your lips slightly to prevent splashing, but allow water to flow into the sink.
4. Flossing: Guide the water jet along your gumline and between your teeth. Pause briefly between teeth to allow the water to clean the interdental spaces. Work from your back teeth towards the front, covering all surfaces.
5. Tongue Cleaning (if applicable): If using the tongue cleaning nozzle, gently glide it across the surface of your tongue from back to front.
6. Power Off: Press the power button again to turn off the device when finished.

7. Cleaning and Maintenance

7.1 After Each Use

• Empty any remaining water from the tank.
• Rinse the water tank thoroughly with clean water.
• Remove the nozzle and rinse it under running water.
• Wipe the exterior of the device with a soft, damp cloth.
• Allow all parts to air dry completely before storing.

7.2 Deep Cleaning (Weekly/Bi-weekly)

• To prevent mineral buildup, fill the water tank with a mixture of 1 part white vinegar and 2 parts water.
• Run the device until half of the solution is used, then turn it off and let it sit for 20-30 minutes.
• Run the remaining solution through the device.
• Rinse the tank and run a full tank of clean water through the device to flush out any vinegar residue.

7.3 Storage

Store the device in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children. Ensure the water tank is empty and dry before storage.
