After each use, wipe down the engraving pen with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and debris. Use a small brush to clean any residue from the chuck area. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

7.2. Bit Care and Storage

Clean bits after use to prevent material buildup. Store all bits in their designated case to protect them from damage and keep them organized. Replace worn or damaged bits to maintain optimal performance and safety.

8. Troubleshooting

  • Pen not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. If fully charged, try pressing and holding the power button for a few seconds.
  • Bits not rotating or slowing down: Check if the bit is securely tightened. Reduce pressure on the workpiece. The overload protection may have activated; allow the tool to cool.
  • Poor engraving results: Ensure the correct bit is used for the material. Adjust the speed setting. Clean the bit if it's clogged.
  • Overload indicator light is on: This indicates excessive pressure or a jam. Release pressure, turn off the tool, clear any obstruction, and restart.
