Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for proper installation of your Erisin ES586 rear view camera.

1. Mounting the Camera

Install the camera in a suitable location on your vehicle, typically near the license plate or car logo, ensuring a clear view of the rear. Use the provided installation accessories (screws, washers) for secure mounting.

2. Connection Diagram

  1. Connect the camera's red power wire to the reversing light's positive (DC 12V+).
  2. Connect the camera's black power wire to the reversing light's negative (GND).
  3. Connect the yellow RCA video output cable from the camera to the "CAM-IN" or "Rear View Camera Input" port on your car multimedia player.
  4. Connect the red trigger wire (often integrated with the RCA cable) to the reverse control cable of your car multimedia player. This signals the player to switch to the camera view when reverse gear is engaged.

1. Switching Video Resolution (720P / 1080P)

The Erisin ES586 camera supports both AHD 720P and AHD 1080P resolutions. To switch between these modes, locate the blue control cable on the camera's wiring harness.

  • To enable AHD 1080P function, cut the blue control cable.
  • To use AHD 720P function, leave the blue control cable uncut.

Ensure your car multimedia system is set to the corresponding resolution (AHD 1080P-25FPS or AHD 720P-25FPS) after making this adjustment.

2. Enabling/Disabling Parking Guide Lines

The camera can display parking guide lines on the screen to assist with reversing. To control this feature, locate the white control cable on the camera's wiring harness.

  • To disable the parking guide lines, cut the white control cable.
  • To enable the parking guide lines, leave the white control cable uncut.
