3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Unpacking and Inspection

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect each unit for any signs of damage during transit. If any damage is found, do not operate the device and contact customer support immediately.

3.2 Mounting

The U`King Moving Head Light can be placed on a flat surface or mounted using the included brackets. Ensure the mounting surface or truss is capable of supporting the weight of the fixture. Use the provided screws to secure the mounting bracket firmly.

3.3 Power Connection

4. Operating Modes

The U`King ZQ02354X8 Moving Head Light offers several operating modes, selectable via the control panel or DMX controller.

4.1 Control Panel Navigation

The control panel features an LCD display and four buttons: MODE/ESC, UP, DOWN, and ENTER. Use these buttons to navigate menus and select settings.

4.2 Auto Mode

To activate Auto mode via the control panel:

  1. Press the "MODE/ESC" button until "8.8.8.8" is displayed.
  2. Use the "UP" or "DOWN" buttons to navigate to "nAFa" (Auto mode).
  3. Press "ENTER" to confirm and activate Auto mode.

4.3 Sound Activated Mode

In Sound Activated mode, the light responds to ambient sound, synchronizing its patterns and movements with music or other audio inputs. This mode is ideal for parties and events where dynamic interaction with sound is desired.

To activate Sound Activated mode via the control panel:

  1. Press the "MODE/ESC" button until "8.8.8.8" is displayed.
  2. Use the "UP" or "DOWN" buttons to navigate to "SrUn" (Sound Activated mode).
  3. Press "ENTER" to confirm and activate Sound Activated mode.

4.4 DMX512 Mode

For advanced control, connect the fixture to a DMX controller. The light supports 9-channel and 14-channel DMX modes, allowing precise control over pan, tilt, color, dimming, strobe, and other effects. Refer to the DMX chart in the full user manual for detailed channel assignments.

4.5 Master-Slave Mode

Connect multiple U`King Moving Head Lights using DMX cables. Set one unit as the Master and the others as Slaves. The Slave units will mirror the Master's operations, creating synchronized light shows without a dedicated DMX controller.
