5. Installation
The wowatt LED spotlights offer two installation methods: surface-mounted and recessed. Choose the method suitable for your ceiling type and desired aesthetic. Always ensure power is disconnected before beginning installation.
Step 1: Separate Lamp Head from Shell
Gently squeeze the outer shell to separate the lamp head from the main housing. This allows access for wiring and mounting.
Surface-Mounted Installation
- Secure the Shell: Attach the main housing to the ceiling using the provided screws. Ensure it is firmly fixed.
- Connect Wiring: Connect the power cord to the terminal block. Ensure correct polarity (Live, Neutral).
- Attach Lamp Head: Align the lamp head with the clips on the secured housing and push it in until it clicks securely into place.
Recessed Installation
- Prepare Opening: Create an appropriate ceiling cutout for the spotlight. Refer to the product dimensions for the required hole size.
- Secure Lamp Head: Attach the spring clamps to both sides of the lamp head.
- Connect Wiring: Connect the power cable to the terminal block. Ensure correct polarity.
- Insert into Ceiling: Push the spring clamps upwards and insert the entire lamp assembly into the ceiling hole until it sits flush.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Adjustable Angle
The spotlight head can be rotated 30° to the left and right. This allows you to direct the light precisely to your desired area. Adjust the light angle as needed to highlight specific features or areas in your room.
6.2 Adjustable Color Temperature (CCT)
The spotlight features three color temperature settings: 3000K (Warm White), 4000K (Neutral White), and 6000K (Cool White). To change the color temperature, locate the small switch on the back of the lamp head. Gently slide the switch to select your preferred CCT. This allows you to create different lighting atmospheres for various scenarios.
6.3 Adjustable Brightness
The spotlights can be dimmed using a standard wall switch, without the need for a separate dimmer. The brightness levels are 100%, 50%, and 10%. To cycle through these brightness levels:
- Turn on the light (default 100% brightness).
- Quickly turn the light off and on again to switch to 50% brightness.
- Quickly turn the light off and on again to switch to 10% brightness.
- Repeat the quick off/on cycle to return to 100% brightness.
If the light is turned off for an extended period, restarting it will restore the default brightness to 100%.

- Cleaning: Ensure the power is off before cleaning. Wipe the spotlights with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
