2. Safety Precautions and General Care

  • Do not exceed the maximum capacity of 2000g (2kg) to prevent overload damage.
  • Avoid exposing the scale to extreme heat, cold, or sudden temperature changes. Operate the scale in a stable room temperature environment.
  • Allow the scale approximately 30 seconds to warm up and stabilize before use.
  • Handle the scale with care. Avoid dropping or subjecting it to strong impacts.
  • Keep the scale clean and dry. Dust, dirt, moisture, or vibrations can affect accuracy.
  • Ensure the scale is placed on a stable, flat surface for accurate readings.

4. Setup

Battery Installation:

The scale requires 2 AAA batteries (included). To install or replace batteries:

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the scale.
  2. Insert the 2 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

5. Operation

5.1 Power On/Off

  • To turn on the scale, press the [ON/OFF] button.
  • To turn off the scale, press and hold the [ON/OFF] button for a few seconds, or wait for the automatic 180-second auto-off function to engage.

5.2 Unit Conversion

To change the weighing unit:

  • With the scale on, press the [MODE] button to cycle through the available units: g (grams), oz (ounces), gn (grains), ct (carats), dwt (pennyweight), and ozt (troy ounces).

5.3 Tare Function

The tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container to get the net weight of its contents.

  1. Place an empty container on the weighing platform.
  2. Press the [TARE] button. The display will reset to "0.0g".
  3. Add the items you wish to weigh into the container. The display will show only the weight of the items.

5.4 Counting Function (PCS)

This function allows you to count uniform items.

  1. Turn on the scale and ensure the LCD displays "0.0".
  2. Place a sample quantity (25, 50, 75, or 100 pieces) of the item you wish to count on the weighing platform.
  3. Press and hold the [PCS] key for 2 seconds until "PCS" is displayed.
  4. Press the [MODE] button to select the corresponding sample quantity (e.g., "25", "50", "75", or "100").
  5. Press the [PCS] key to confirm your selection. The display will now show the selected sample quantity.
  6. You can now place any amount of the item on the platform, and the scale will display the total count of the items.

6. Calibration

Calibration ensures the accuracy of your scale. A calibration weight (e.g., 2000g) is required.

  1. Turn on the scale.
  2. Press and hold the [MODE] key for 3 seconds until "CAL" is displayed.
  3. Press the [MODE] key again. The required calibration weight (e.g., "2000g") will flash on the display.
  4. Place the exact calibration weight (e.g., 2000g) on the center of the weighing platform.
  5. Wait for the display to show "PASS" and then return to normal weighing mode.
  6. Remove the calibration weight. The scale is now calibrated.

7. Maintenance and Care

To ensure the longevity and accuracy of your scale, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Clean the scale with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the scale in water.
  • Store the scale in a clean, dry, and stable environment when not in use.
  • Remove batteries if the scale will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
