3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove the range hood from its packaging. Inspect for any damage during transit. Retain packaging materials for potential future transport or returns.
3.2 Mounting
The range hood should be mounted at a minimum distance of 60-70 cm above the cooking surface. Ensure the mounting surface is strong enough to support the weight of the appliance.

3.3 Ducting Options
The range hood supports both extraction (ducted) and recirculation (ductless) modes. For extraction mode, a suitable exhaust duct (not included) with a diameter of 15 cm is required to vent air outside. For recirculation mode, carbon filters are used to purify the air before returning it to the kitchen.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Control Panel
The range hood features a simple joystick control for fan speed and lighting.

Figure 4.1: Close-up of the precision joystick control panel, showing switches for fan speed (High, Off, Low) and light (On, Off). This image helps users identify and understand the controls.
4.2 Fan Speed Adjustment
To adjust the fan speed, use the fan speed switch on the control panel. Select between 'Low' for light cooking and 'High' for more intense cooking fumes. The hood operates quietly, with noise levels at 60 dB(A) in Eco mode and 65 dB(A) at maximum speed.

Figure 4.2: An image depicting a quiet kitchen environment with the range hood operating, symbolized by a sleeping cat. This visually reinforces the product's low noise level feature, stating it remains below 65 dB even at maximum speed.
4.3 Lighting
The integrated LED lighting provides uniform and glare-free illumination of your cooking area. Use the light switch on the control panel to turn the light 'On' or 'Off'.

Figure 4.3: This image highlights the energy-saving 1.5W LED lighting and the smart memory activation feature. It shows the hood extended with the light on, demonstrating how the retractable design instantly recalls the last settings.
4.4 Telescopic Function
The hood features a telescopic extraction mechanism that can be operated with one hand. Extending the hood increases the capture surface by 40%, enhancing its effectiveness. The smart memory function recalls the last used speed setting when extended.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning the Hood
Clean the exterior surfaces of the range hood regularly with a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive detergent. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish.
5.2 Filter Maintenance
The range hood is equipped with a two-layer aluminum grease filter and activated carbon filters (for recirculation mode). Both types of filters are dishwasher safe.
- Grease Filters: These should be cleaned regularly, typically every 2-4 weeks depending on usage. Remove the filters and wash them in a dishwasher or by hand with hot water and detergent. Ensure they are completely dry before re-installing.
- Carbon Filters: For recirculation mode, activated carbon filters absorb odors. These filters cannot be washed and must be replaced every 3-6 months, depending on usage.
