- Mounting the Display Unit: Place the display unit on your car's dashboard. The unit is designed for easy dash-mounting without the need for special tools or embedded installation. Secure it using the strong 3M tape provided for stability.
- Connecting Power: Connect the provided cigarette lighter power cord to your car's cigarette lighter socket. No complex wiring work is required.
- GPS Antenna Placement: Position the GPS antenna in a location where it has a clear view of the sky to ensure optimal signal reception.
- Rear Camera Installation (Optional): If using a rear camera, install it inside the vehicle. Note that the rear camera is not included and only compatible with dedicated VANBAR cameras (AISN: B0F929XJT3).
- Initial Power On: Once connected, the device will power on.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 System Interface and Navigation
The system runs on Android 14, offering an intuitive and user-friendly interface. You can access various applications and settings directly from the home screen.

3.2 Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto
Connect your smartphone wirelessly via Bluetooth to activate CarPlay or Android Auto. This allows you to control your phone's navigation, music, and call functions directly from the display.
- Connection: Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone and pair it with the VANBAR system.
- Voice Control: Use voice commands like "Hey Siri" or "Hello Google" for hands-free operation.
- Note: This product supports wireless connections only for CarPlay and Android Auto. Wired connections are not supported.

3.3 Wireless Mirroring
The wireless mirroring function allows you to project your iPhone or Android smartphone screen onto the 11.5-inch display. This is ideal for sharing content with passengers.
3.4 Split Screen Functionality
The 5:5 split screen feature enables simultaneous viewing of two applications, such as navigation and a video player. This enhances convenience for both the driver and passengers.
- Usage: Activate the split-screen mode from the system interface.
- Note: Split-screen display is disabled when CarPlay, Android Auto, or mirroring functions are active.

3.5 Audio Output Modes
The system offers three methods for audio output to your car's speakers:
- Bluetooth Connection: Connect wirelessly to your car's stereo for high-quality audio playback and calls.
- FM Transmission: Synchronize the system with your car's FM radio frequency for simple audio output without special terminals.
- AUX Connection: Use the provided AUX cable for a stable, wired audio connection. Ensure your car has an AUX input terminal. If not, use Bluetooth or FM transmission.

3.6 HDMI Output
The system features an HDMI output port, allowing you to connect to a rear monitor for shared video entertainment. This is particularly useful for passengers in the back seat.
- Connection: Use a separate HDMI cable (not included) to connect the system to a rear monitor.
- Note: HDMI output supports video only. Audio will be routed through the car's speakers or other connected audio systems. Some applications may not support HDMI output.

5. Troubleshooting
Common Issues and Solutions:
- No Power:
- Ensure the cigarette lighter power cord is securely plugged into both the device and the car's socket.
- Check if the car's cigarette lighter socket is functioning.
- GPS Signal Loss:
- Verify that the GPS antenna is placed in a location with a clear view of the sky.
- Check the GPS status in the system settings to ensure satellites are being acquired.
- HDMI Output Issues:
- Ensure the HDMI cable is connected correctly and is not damaged.
- Confirm that the connected rear monitor is set to the correct HDMI input.
- Note that some applications may not support HDMI output.
- HDMI output is for video only; audio will come from the main unit or car speakers.
- AUX Audio Noise:

- Settings App Crashing:
- If the settings application crashes, try restarting the device.

- Navigation Bar Overlap:
- Some third-party applications may have display issues where the navigation bar overlaps content. This is often an app-specific issue.
- Rear Camera Not Displaying:
- Ensure the dedicated VANBAR rear camera is correctly connected.
- Third-party cameras are not supported.
