6. Maintenance
- Keep the controller dry and away from extreme temperatures.
- Clean the controller with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Avoid dropping the controller or subjecting it to strong impacts.
- Store the controller in a safe place when not in use to prevent damage.
7. Troubleshooting
7.1. Controller Not Connecting
- Check Battery: Ensure the controller is sufficiently charged. Connect it via USB-C cable to charge.
- Verify Mode Switch: Make sure the mode switch on the back of the controller is set correctly for your desired connection type (Wired, 2.4G, BT, NS).
- Re-pair: For wireless connections, try re-pairing the controller with your device (see Section 4.3).
- USB Receiver: For 2.4GHz connection, ensure the USB receiver is securely plugged into your PC. Try a different USB port.
- Device Compatibility: Confirm your device supports the chosen connection method (e.g., Bluetooth for iOS/Android).
7.2. Input Lag or Unresponsive Buttons
- Wired Connection: For optimal performance and lowest latency, use a wired connection.
- Interference: For wireless connections, minimize interference from other wireless devices.
- Polling Rate: Ensure your device and game support the 1000Hz polling rate for wired and 2.4G modes. Bluetooth typically has a lower polling rate (125Hz).
- Firmware Update: Check the EasySMX official website for any available firmware updates for your controller.
7.3. D-Pad or Joystick Drift
- The X05PRO uses Hall Effect joysticks designed to prevent drift. If you experience drift, ensure the controller's firmware is up to date.
