3. Setup and Assembly
Assembly of the CDCASA greenhouse requires careful attention to detail. It is recommended that 3-4 skilled individuals work together, which can complete the assembly within 5-8 hours. The product is delivered in 7 boxes. A video guide is available to assist with key assembly steps.
General Assembly Tips:
- Unpack all boxes and identify components using the provided parts list.
- Ensure the white side of the polycarbonate panels faces inwards and the clear side faces outwards for optimal light transmission and UV protection.
- If panels are difficult to insert into grooves, gently thin the edge of the panel with a rubber hammer to facilitate insertion.
- Always push all panels firmly to the bottom of their respective grooves to ensure a secure and stable fit.
- An electric screwdriver is recommended for faster assembly.
Specific Assembly Guidance:
- Frame Connections: The Quick Connect system simplifies frame assembly. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Door Assembly: When assembling the right door, ensure the third prong of the corner joint bracket points towards the back of the greenhouse, and the vertical beam with door hinges is on the right side when facing the greenhouse.
- Window Assembly: The cylindrical edge of the window assembly fits into the circular channel on the roof ridge.
- Panel Insertion: Ensure proper overlap between polycarbonate sheets and the aluminum frame for stability. Incorrect placement can lead to instability.
- Gutter Installation: Gutters play a critical role in securing side wall and roof panels. Ensure they firmly press both panels together to prevent water and wind penetration.

4. Operating the Greenhouse
Once assembled, your CDCASA greenhouse is ready for use. Proper operation ensures a healthy environment for your plants.
Ventilation:
The greenhouse is equipped with 6 adjustable roof vents. Open these vents to allow fresh air circulation and to release excess heat, especially on warm days. Adjust the opening angle based on external temperature and desired internal climate.

Door Operation:
The greenhouse features a double swing door for easy access. The snap-on door handles ensure the doors remain securely closed when not in use, protecting your plants from external elements.
Water Management:
Built-in rain gutters effectively collect and channel rainwater away from the greenhouse structure, preventing water accumulation and potential damage.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance will extend the lifespan of your greenhouse and ensure optimal performance.
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the polycarbonate panels with mild soap and water to remove dirt and algae, ensuring maximum light penetration. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Frame Inspection: Annually inspect the aluminum frame for any signs of rust, damage, or loose connections. Tighten any loose screws or bolts.
- Panel Security: Regularly check that all polycarbonate panels are securely seated in their grooves. Re-secure any loose panels to maintain structural integrity and weather resistance.
- Vent and Door Functionality: Ensure that roof vents and doors open and close smoothly. Lubricate hinges if necessary.
- Gutter Clearance: Keep rain gutters clear of debris to ensure efficient water drainage.

6. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter during assembly or use.
Assembly Challenges:
- Difficulty inserting panels: If polycarbonate panels do not slide easily into the frame grooves, gently tap the edge of the panel with a rubber hammer to slightly compress it, making it thinner for easier insertion.
- Panels not secure: Ensure all panels are fully pushed down to the bottom of their respective grooves. This is crucial for stability and weather sealing.
- Misaligned holes: If screw holes do not align, double-check that the correct components are being used and that they are oriented as per the instructions. Sometimes, the correct set of holes might be on the opposite side of a beam.
- Gutter installation issues: Ensure the gutter beam is correctly oriented and firmly presses both the roof and side wall panels together. Incorrect installation can lead to leaks and reduced stability.
Operational Issues:
- Poor ventilation: Ensure all 6 roof vents are functioning correctly and are opened sufficiently to allow airflow. Check for any obstructions.
- Door not closing properly: Inspect door hinges and handles for damage or misalignment. Ensure the snap-on handles engage correctly.
- Water leakage: Check all panel seams and gutter connections. Ensure panels are fully seated and gutters are free of blockages.
