1. Introduction

The Hidizs MK10 ArcSonics In-Ear Monitors are engineered for a high-fidelity audio experience, featuring advanced driver technology and customizable sound profiles. This manual provides essential information for setup, operation, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

  • 6D Sound Remapping Engine: Offers six distinct sound styles through a combination of three pneumatic nozzles and two liquid silicone ear tip types.
  • ZA12 Zinc Alloy Shell: Features a liquid-forged zinc-alloy chassis with a mirror-polished finish, designed to minimize resonance and deflect external noise.
  • Low Impedance & OFC Cable: Engineered with extreme-low impedance for compatibility with mobile devices and includes an Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC) cable for lossless signal transmission.

3.2 Selecting and Attaching Ear Tips & Tuning Filters

The MK10 ArcSonics come with various ear tips and tuning filters to customize your sound experience and fit.

  2. Select Tuning Filters: The three pneumatic nozzles (Black for Bass/Balanced, Silver for Treble, Red for Vocals) allow you to adjust the sound signature. Gently unscrew the pre-installed filter and screw in your preferred filter.
  3. Attach Ear Tips: Once the desired tuning filter is in place, carefully slide the chosen ear tip onto the nozzle until it is securely seated.

  • Red Nozzle: Focuses on vocal intimacy and clarity, perfect for jazz and vocal-centric tracks.

Experiment with different combinations of nozzles and ear tips to find your preferred sound signature.

5. Maintenance

Proper care ensures the longevity and performance of your Hidizs MK10 ArcSonics In-Ear Monitors:

  • Cleaning: Regularly clean the ear tips and nozzles with a soft, dry cloth to remove earwax and debris. Ensure no moisture enters the drivers.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the IEMs in the provided HIDIZS pouch bag to protect them from dust, scratches, and tangling.
  • Cable Care: Avoid sharp bends or excessive pulling on the cable to prevent damage. The detachable design allows for easy replacement if needed.
  • Avoid Moisture: The IEMs are not water-resistant. Keep them away from liquids and high humidity.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your Hidizs MK10 ArcSonics, refer to the following common solutions:

  • No Sound/Intermittent Sound:
    • Ensure the cable is securely connected to both the IEMs and the audio source.
    • Check the volume level on your audio source.
    • Test with a different audio source or cable to rule out component failure.
  • Poor Sound Quality/Lack of Bass:
    • Ensure the ear tips create a proper seal in your ear canal. Try different sizes or types of ear tips.
    • Verify that the tuning filters are correctly installed and match your desired sound profile.
    • Clean any debris from the ear tips and nozzles.
  • Discomfort/Poor Fit:
    • Experiment with all provided ear tip sizes and types to find the most comfortable fit.
    • Adjust the cable over your ears for better stability.
