4. Power Connection
- Connect the 12V car power adapter to the USB-C port on the front dash camera.
- Plug the 12V car power adapter into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket.

Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
- Automatic: The dash cam powers on and starts recording automatically when connected to vehicle power and the ignition is on. It powers off automatically when the ignition is turned off.
- Manual: Press and hold the Power button to manually turn the device on or off.
Recording Modes
- Loop Recording: The dash cam continuously records video in segments (e.g., 1, 3, or 5 minutes). When the SD card is full, the oldest unlocked files are overwritten.
- G-Sensor (Emergency Recording): In the event of a sudden impact or collision, the built-in G-sensor automatically detects the event and locks the current video segment, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording. The sensitivity of the G-sensor can be adjusted in the settings.
- Parking Mode: When enabled and the vehicle is parked, the dash cam can record video for up to 30 seconds if it detects motion or an impact. This feature often requires a hardwire kit (e.g., OHWK3000, sold separately) for continuous power.
Display and Menu Navigation
- The 3-inch IPS display shows the live view from the front and rear cameras.
- Press the Menu button to access settings.
- Use the Up/Down buttons to navigate through menu options.
- Press the OK button to confirm selections.
HDR Function
The High Dynamic Range (HDR) function improves image quality by optimizing exposure in scenes with high contrast, ensuring clearer recordings in varying light conditions (e.g., bright sunlight and deep shadows).
GPS Functionality
The integrated GPS module records your vehicle's position and speed, providing valuable data that can be viewed alongside your video recordings. This information can be crucial in the event of an incident.
Maintenance
- Clean the Lenses: Regularly wipe the front and rear camera lenses with a soft, lint-free cloth to ensure clear video quality. Avoid abrasive materials.
- SD Card Maintenance: Format the Micro SD card periodically (e.g., once a month) to prevent data corruption and ensure optimal recording performance. Back up any important files before formatting.
- Firmware Updates: Check the OSRAM website for any available firmware updates for your dash cam model. Follow the instructions provided with the update carefully.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the dash cam in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
