This Merax Loft Bed is designed for children and offers a safe and functional sleeping and living space.
- Sleeping Area: The upper platform is intended for sleeping. Ensure the mattress used is within the recommended thickness of 10-12 cm to maintain the effectiveness of the guardrails.
- Staircase Use: Use the integrated staircase for safe access to and from the loft bed. Always ensure children use the handrails.

Regular maintenance will help prolong the life and safety of your Merax Loft Bed.
- Cleaning: Wipe down the bed frame with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the wood finish.
- Fastener Check: Periodically check all screws and fasteners to ensure they remain tight. Retighten as necessary, but do not overtighten.
- Structural Integrity: Inspect the wood components regularly for any signs of wear, cracks, or damage. Address any issues promptly to maintain safety.
- Stair Safety: Ensure the stair treads are clean and free from obstructions. If anti-slip tape is applied, check its condition periodically.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your Merax Loft Bed, consider the following:
- Bed Feels Unstable/Wobbly: Ensure all screws and fasteners are fully tightened. Check that the bed is placed on a level surface. Uneven flooring can cause instability.
- Guardrail or Slats Seem Bent/Loose: During assembly, ensure components are not forced into place. If any parts appear bent or damaged, contact customer support for replacements. Ensure all guardrail and slat fasteners are securely tightened.
- Stairs Feel Slippery or Unsafe: Verify that all stair components are correctly assembled and tightened. Consider adding anti-slip strips to the stair treads for enhanced safety, especially if the surface feels slick.
- Creaking Noises: Creaking can often be resolved by re-tightening all assembly hardware. Ensure the bed is not overloaded beyond its 120 kg weight capacity.
- Missing Parts: If any parts are missing upon delivery, refer to your parts list and contact Merax customer support immediately. Remember that the product ships in 3 packages, which may arrive separately.
