4. Setup
4.1 Battery Activation
The Temtop T1-SE is powered by a CR2032 coin battery (included). To activate the device:
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the device.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Gently pull and remove the transparent insulating tab from the battery slot. This tab prevents battery drain during storage.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely. The device screen will illuminate automatically.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Display Overview
The large LCD screen displays the following information:
- Current Temperature (°C/°F)
- Current Humidity (%)
- Comfort Level Indicator (DRY, COMFORT, WET)
- Time (AM/PM, 12/24H format)
- Date (Month/Day/Year)

5.2 Setting Time and Date
To set the time and date:
- Press and hold the SET button (located on the back) for 3 seconds. The hour digits will start flashing.
- Use the + or - buttons to adjust the hour. Press and hold for faster adjustment.
- Press SET again to confirm the hour and move to minute setting. Repeat the adjustment process.
- Continue pressing SET to cycle through and adjust Year, Month, and Day.
- After setting the Day, press SET one last time to exit the setting mode.

5.3 Switching Temperature Units (°C/°F)
To switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit:
- Briefly press the + button (located on the back) to toggle between °C and °F.

5.4 Comfort Level Indicators
The device features a color-coded bar to indicate the comfort level based on humidity:
- RED (DRY): Humidity below 40% RH.
