4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Battery Installation
- Open the battery box cover by sliding it in the direction indicated.
- Insert 3 AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).

4.2 Surface Preparation
- Choose a clean, dry, and smooth surface for installation (e.g., wood, metal, plastic, painted walls).
- Wipe the surface thoroughly to remove any dust, dirt, or grease. Allow the surface to dry completely.
4.3 Applying the LED Strip
- Carefully peel off the protective backing from the 3M double-sided adhesive tape on the back of the LED strip.
- Press the LED strip firmly onto the prepared surface, working in small sections to ensure good adhesion. Avoid repositioning the strip multiple times, as this can weaken the adhesive.
4.4 Cutting the LED Strip (Optional)
If your desired length is shorter than the strip, you can trim it to size.
- Identify the designated cut marks on the LED strip. These are typically indicated by a copper pad and a scissor icon.
- Using sharp scissors, cut precisely along the designated line. Do not cut anywhere else on the strip, as this will damage the circuit.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
To turn the LED strip lights on or off, locate the small button on the side of the battery box. Press the button once to turn the lights on, and press it again to turn them off.
5.2 Adjusting Brightness
The battery box also functions as a brightness controller. Repeatedly pressing the power button will cycle through ten different brightness levels. Select the desired brightness by pressing the button until the preferred intensity is reached.

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the LED strips with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
