3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Important Connection Reminder
The app displays "Actual Point 144" which refers to the maximum number of lights supported by a single circuit, not the total number of lights in your set. To ensure stable operation and prevent power/signal issues, the light strings must be connected in a "parallel branch" configuration using the included Y-shaped connector. This design protects the light strings and the control box.
3.2 Installation Methods
The lights can be installed using two primary methods:
- Adhesive-Backed Installation: Peel off the protective film from the back of each light and firmly press it onto a clean, dry surface for 5 seconds.
- Screw Fixing Installation: For enhanced security, use the provided screws to fix each light in place.

3.3 Y-Connection Steps (Model C5111-B)
Follow these steps for proper Y-connection:
- Behind Controller: Connect the 72W adapter to the control box. Then, use the Y-connector to split the output into two branches, each supporting up to 6 strings of lights.
- Behind Light String: The LED string behind the Y-connector is a single-point controller with two LEDs. Ensure connections are secure.

3.4 Extension Cable Installation
Extension cables can be used to increase the distance between components:
- Between controller and first string of lights: Up to 6 extension cables can be connected.
- Between two strings of lights: Up to 3 extension cables can be connected.
- Complete set of lights: Up to 6 extension cables can be connected in total for the entire setup.

3.5 Wi-Fi Connection and App Setup
To connect your lights to the Smart Life App:
- Plug in the power adapter.
- Press and hold the button on the control box for 6 seconds until the lights flash red.
- Open the Smart Life App (ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4G Wi-Fi network).
- Follow the in-app instructions to add and configure your APPECK Permanent Outdoor Lights.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Smart Life App Control
The Smart Life App provides comprehensive control over your lights:
- Scene Programming: Choose from 111 pre-set scene modes or create and save your own custom lighting effects.
- Color & Brightness Adjustment: Adjust individual light colors, toggle on/off, and fine-tune brightness.
- Scheduling: Set schedules for automatic on/off times and scene changes.
- Grouping: Group multiple APPECK light sets to synchronize their effects with one click.
