4. Setup and Operating Instructions

4.1. Time and Date Setting

3. While a digit is flashing, press the START button to adjust its value.
4. After setting all desired values, press the MODE button to exit the setting mode and return to normal time display.

4.3. Alarm Function

To use the alarm function, follow these steps:

1. Press the MODE button twice to enter the alarm mode.
2. To turn the alarm and hourly chime on or off, press the START button. A displayed bell icon indicates the alarm is on. A displayed "SIG" icon indicates the hourly chime is active. If the icon is not visible, the corresponding function is turned off.
3. To set the alarm time, press the RESET button. The hours digits will flash. Press the START button to adjust the hour setting.
4. After setting the hour, press the RESET button to switch to minute setting. Similarly, press the START button to adjust the minutes.
5. After setting the minutes, press RESET to confirm, then press MODE to exit the alarm setting mode.

To use the stopwatch function, follow these steps:

1. Press the MODE button once to enter stopwatch mode.
2. Press the START button to begin timing.
3. Press the START button again to pause the stopwatch.
4. While paused, press the START button again to resume timing.
5. To activate the SPL (Split) mode while the stopwatch is running, press the RESET button. The current timing data will be frozen and displayed, while the stopwatch continues running in the background. This function is useful for recording lap times.
6. Pressing the RESET button again will exit SPL mode.
7. To return the stopwatch to its initial state (00:00:00), press the START button to pause it, then press the RESET button.
8. Press the MODE button once to exit the stopwatch mode.
