Rear Connections

The rear of the unit houses all necessary connection ports, including the main ISO wiring harness connector, RCA audio/video outputs (L/R OUT, V2OUT, V1OUT), video input for a rear view camera (V1IN), and the antenna input (ANT). Proper connection of these ports is crucial for full functionality.
Installation
Warning: Incorrect installation can cause damage to the unit or your vehicle. If you are not confident with car audio wiring, it is highly recommended to seek professional installation.
- Preparation: Disconnect the vehicle's negative battery terminal before starting any electrical work.
- Mounting: Install the metal mounting bracket into your vehicle's 2-Din opening. Secure the BSDD1310LB unit into the bracket.
- Wiring:
- Connect the ISO wiring harness to the unit and then to your vehicle's corresponding wiring. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Connect the external microphone to the designated port for hands-free calling.
- If installing a rear view camera, connect its video output to the "V1IN" port on the unit and its power to the vehicle's reverse light circuit.
- Connect any additional audio/video sources to the RCA inputs/outputs as needed.
- Connect the vehicle's antenna to the "ANT" port.
- Testing: Reconnect the battery terminal. Turn on the unit and test all functions (radio, Bluetooth, CarPlay/Android Auto, camera, etc.) before fully reassembling the dashboard.

Operating Instructions
Power On/Off and Volume
- Power On: Press the power button on the front panel or the remote control.
- Power Off: Press and hold the power button for a few seconds. A short press will mute/unmute the audio.
- Volume Adjustment: Use the volume up/down buttons on the front panel or the remote control.
Main Menu Navigation
From the main screen, tap on the icons to access different functions such as Radio, Bluetooth, CarPlay/Android Auto, USB, SD, AUX, Settings, etc. Swipe left or right on the screen to view additional application pages if available.
Bluetooth Connectivity
- On the unit, navigate to the Bluetooth menu.
- Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone and search for available devices.
- Select "BSDD1310LB" from the list on your phone. Confirm the pairing code if prompted.
- Once connected, you can make/receive hands-free calls and stream audio from your phone.
Wired Apple CarPlay & Android Auto
- Connect your iPhone or Android smartphone to the unit's USB port using a certified USB cable.
- The unit will automatically detect the connection and prompt you to launch Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.

FM Radio Operation
- Select FM Mode: Tap the "Radio" icon from the main menu.
- Auto Scan: Press the auto-scan button to automatically search and save strong stations to presets.
- Manual Tuning: Use the arrow buttons to fine-tune frequencies.
- Preset Stations: Tap on a preset number (1-18) to recall a saved station. To save a station, tune to it and then press and hold a preset number until you hear a confirmation beep.
