3. Setup and Assembly

Your StarAndDaisy Luna Luxe Stroller comes partially assembled. Follow these steps to complete the setup:

1. Unfolding the Stroller: Release the folding latch (if present) and pull the handle upwards until the frame locks into place. Ensure all locking mechanisms are engaged with an audible click.
2. Attaching Wheels: Insert the front and rear wheels into their respective slots until they click securely.
3. Attaching the Canopy: Secure the canopy to the frame by attaching the clips or snaps provided.
4. Installing the Tray: Align the removable tray with the designated slots on the armrest and push down until it locks.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Folding and Unfolding

• To Fold: Engage the wheel brakes. Locate the folding mechanism (often a lever or button on the handle or side frame). Follow the specific instructions for your model to collapse the stroller until it locks into its folded position.
• To Unfold: Release the folding latch and pull the handle upwards firmly until the frame clicks into its fully open and locked position. Always check that all parts are securely locked before use.

4.2 Adjusting Recline and Footrest

The stroller features a multi-level recline for your child's comfort and an adjustable footrest.

• Backrest Recline: Locate the recline lever or strap behind the seat. Adjust to the desired angle (e.g., 95° for comfortable viewing, 135° for feeding/nap, 175° for comfortable sleeping).
• Footrest Adjustment: Press the buttons on either side of the footrest to adjust its height and angle.

4.3 Wheel Operation and Brakes

The stroller is equipped with 360° swivel front wheels and a dual brake system.

• Swivel/Lock Front Wheels: The front wheels can swivel 360° for easy maneuvering. To lock them for stability on uneven terrain, push down the locking lever located above each front wheel.
• Brakes: The stroller features a dual brake system. Push down the brake levers on the rear wheels to engage the brakes. Ensure both brakes are fully engaged when the stroller is stationary. Lift the levers to release.

4.4 Using the Safety Harness

Always secure your child with the 5-point safety harness.

1. Place your child in the seat.
2. Bring the shoulder straps over your child's shoulders and the waist straps around their hips.
3. Insert the buckle tongues into the central buckle until they click.
4. Adjust the straps to ensure a snug, secure fit without being too tight.
5. To release, press the button on the central buckle.

4.5 Canopy and Removable Tray

• Canopy: Adjust the canopy by pulling it forward or backward to provide optimal shade and protection.
• Removable Tray: To remove the tray, press the release buttons on either side and lift it off. To reattach, align and push until it clicks into place.
