3. Setup Guide
3.1 Powering the Main Unit
- Insert 3 AAA batteries into the main unit, observing polarity.
- Alternatively, connect the provided USB cable to the main unit and a power adapter (not included) for continuous power.
3.2 Installing the Outdoor Sensor
- Insert 2 AAA batteries into the outdoor sensor, observing polarity.
- Place the outdoor sensor in a shaded, dry location away from direct sunlight and precipitation for accurate readings. Ensure it is within the wireless transmission range of the main unit (up to 328 feet/100 meters in open areas).

3.3 Pairing the Sensor
The main unit and outdoor sensor should pair automatically upon power-up. If the outdoor readings are not displayed, follow these steps:
- Ensure both the main unit and sensor have fresh batteries or are powered via USB.
- On the main unit, press and hold the UP/CH button to initiate a re-pairing search. The outdoor signal icon will flash.
- Once paired, the outdoor temperature and humidity will appear on the display.
3.4 Initial Settings (Time, Date, Year, Temperature Unit, Pressure Unit)
To set the basic parameters:
- Press and hold the SET button to enter settings mode. The year will begin to flash.
- Use the UP/CH or DOWN/MEM buttons to adjust the value.
- Press SET to confirm and move to the next setting (Year → Month → Day → Hour → Minute → 12/24H Format → Temperature Unit (°C/°F) → Barometric Pressure Unit (inHg/hPa)).
- After setting the last parameter, press SET to exit.
3.5 Setting City for Sunrise/Sunset
The weather station can display sunrise and sunset times for 162 U.S. cities.
- Short press the CITY button. The city code will blink.
- Use the UP/CH or DOWN/MEM buttons to scroll through the city list.
- Press CITY again to confirm your selection.

4. Operating the Weather Station
4.1 Understanding the Display
The color display is organized into several sections for easy readability:
- Outdoor Section: Displays outdoor temperature, humidity, and trend indicators.
- Indoor Section: Displays indoor temperature, humidity, and comfort level.
- Weather Forecast: Shows predicted weather conditions for the next 12 hours.
- Time & Calendar: Current time, day of the week, and date.
- Moon Phase & Barometric Pressure: Current moon phase and atmospheric pressure readings.
- City & Sunrise/Sunset: Selected city code and corresponding sunrise/sunset times.

4.2 Weather Forecast
The weather forecast function intelligently predicts trends for the next 12 hours based on barometric pressure changes. It displays one of five weather modes: Sunny, Partly Sunny, Cloudy, Rainy, or Snowy.

4.3 Moon Phase Display
The moon phase function updates daily in the evening, displaying 12 distinct moon phases to keep you informed about nature's rhythm.
4.4 Min/Max Temperature and Humidity Records
The weather station stores the minimum and maximum temperature and humidity readings for the past 24 hours.
- Press the DOWN/MEM button to view the maximum records.
- Press DOWN/MEM again to view the minimum records.
- To clear the records, press and hold the DOWN/MEM button while viewing the records.
4.5 Setting Temperature Alerts
You can set custom high and low temperature alerts for the outdoor sensor.
- Press and hold the ALERT button to enter alert setting mode. The outdoor high temperature alert value will flash.
- Use the UP/CH or DOWN/MEM buttons to adjust the value.
- Press ALERT to confirm and move to the outdoor low temperature alert.
- Repeat the adjustment and confirmation for the low temperature alert.
- Press ALERT again to exit. An alarm icon will appear when alerts are active.

4.6 Alarm Clock Function
The weather station includes an alarm clock with a snooze feature.
- Press the ALARM button to activate or deactivate the alarm. An alarm icon will appear when active.
- When the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button on top for a 5-minute snooze.
- To stop the alarm, press any other button.
4.7 Backlight Adjustment
The backlight behavior depends on the power source:
- DC Power (Plug-in): Supports 5-level backlight brightness adjustment. The default is high brightness and always on, ideal for extended indoor use.
- Battery Mode: The backlight is bright by default but turns off automatically after 15 seconds to save power and extend battery life. Press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button to temporarily illuminate the display.
5. Maintenance
- Clean the display and unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Replace batteries in both the main unit and outdoor sensor when the low battery indicator appears on the display.
- Ensure the outdoor sensor remains protected from extreme weather conditions to prolong its lifespan.
6. Troubleshooting
- No outdoor temperature/humidity reading:
- Check if the outdoor sensor batteries are installed correctly and are not depleted.
- Ensure the outdoor sensor is within range of the main unit and there are no major obstructions.
- Re-pair the sensor by holding the UP/CH button on the main unit. - Inaccurate readings:
- Ensure the outdoor sensor is not in direct sunlight or near heat sources.
- Allow both units to stabilize for 15-30 minutes after setup. - Display is dim or off in battery mode:
- This is normal behavior to conserve battery life. Press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button to temporarily activate the backlight.
- For continuous bright display, use the USB power cable. - Time/Date is incorrect:
- Follow the instructions in Section 3.4 to manually set the time and date.
