  • Hold the trimmer with the grass shear blade parallel to the ground.
  • Move the trimmer slowly and steadily along the edge of the grass.
  • Avoid contact with hard objects like stones or metal, which can damage the blade.

6.3. Using the Shrubbery Trimmer Blade

The shrubbery trimmer blade is suitable for shaping small hedges, bushes, and ornamental plants.

  • Hold the trimmer at a comfortable angle, ensuring a stable grip.
  • Work in small sections, moving the blade smoothly across the shrubbery.
  • Do not attempt to cut branches thicker than the recommended capacity (typically 0.3-0.4 inches).
  • Always be aware of your surroundings and avoid cutting electrical wires or other hidden obstacles.

6.4. Stopping the Trimmer

Release the power switch to stop the motor. Always ensure the trimmer has come to a complete stop before setting it down or performing any maintenance.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your trimmer.

7.1. Cleaning

  • After each use, disconnect the battery.
  • Use a stiff brush or cloth to remove grass clippings, leaves, and debris from the blades and housing.
  • Do not use water or cleaning solvents directly on the electrical components.
  • Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.

7.2. Blade Care

  • Periodically apply a light machine oil or blade lubricant to the blades to prevent rust and ensure smooth operation.
  • If blades become dull, they can be sharpened by a professional or replaced.
  • Inspect blades for damage (bends, cracks) before each use. Replace damaged blades immediately.

7.3. Storage

  • Store the trimmer in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
  • Ensure the battery is partially charged (not fully depleted or fully charged) before long-term storage. Recharge every 3-6 months if not in use.
