4. Maintenance

Cleaning

Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera body. For the lens, use a specialized lens cleaning cloth and solution. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the device.

Storage

Store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) if storing for extended periods to maintain battery health.

Battery Care

The camera is powered by a nonstandard battery. To maximize battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the device regularly, especially if it has not been used for a long time.

5. Troubleshooting

Camera Not Turning On

  • Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the camera to a power source and try again.
  • Press and hold the Power button for a longer duration (5-10 seconds).

Recording Issues (e.g., not saving, corrupted files)

  • Check if the Micro SD card is properly inserted.
  • Ensure there is sufficient storage space on the Micro SD card.
  • Format the Micro SD card (this will erase all data, so back up important files first).
  • Use a high-speed Micro SD card (Class 10, U1, V30 recommended).

Poor Video/Photo Quality

  • Clean the camera lens.
  • Ensure adequate lighting for optimal recording, or activate night vision in dark environments.

Device Freezes or Becomes Unresponsive

  • Perform a soft reset by pressing and holding the Power button until the device restarts.
  • If a reset button is available (often a small pinhole), use a thin object to press it.
