1. Important Safety Information

WARNING: Not for Use with Latex Paint. This sprayer is engineered for oil-based paints, stains, varnishes, and enamels. It is NOT compatible with latex or acrylic paints. Using latex paint will cause clogs and damage to the tool. Always check paint compatibility before use.

Battery and charger are not included. Use compatible Milwaukee 18V batteries (4.0Ah or higher capacity recommended for best performance).

Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, gloves, and a respirator, when operating the paint sprayer.

Ensure adequate ventilation in your work area to prevent the buildup of hazardous fumes.

3. Setup

3.1 Attaching the Paint Container

  1. Ensure the sprayer unit is clean and free of debris.
  2. Align the paint container with the sprayer body.
  3. Twist the container clockwise until it is securely tightened. Ensure the threads are properly aligned to prevent cross-threading and paint leakage.

3.2 Installing the Battery

  1. Insert a compatible Milwaukee 18V battery into the battery slot at the base of the sprayer handle.
  2. Push firmly until the battery clicks into place, indicating a secure connection.

3.3 Selecting and Installing Nozzles

  1. Choose the appropriate brass nozzle (1.0mm, 1.5mm, 2.0mm, or 2.5mm) for your project type. Smaller nozzles are for finer finishes, larger for thicker coatings.
  2. Unscrew the cap nut from the front of the sprayer.
  3. Insert the chosen nozzle into the sprayer head.
  4. Replace and tighten the cap nut securely.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Paint Preparation and Refilling

  1. Always dilute paint according to the manufacturer's instructions and test viscosity using the included viscosity cup. Proper dilution is crucial for optimal spray performance and to prevent clogging.
  2. Use the convenient side-fill port to add paint to the 1200mL tank without disassembling the entire unit. This minimizes mess and speeds up refills.
  3. Securely close the side-fill cap after refilling.

4.2 Adjusting Spray Patterns and Flow Control

The sprayer offers three adjustable spray patterns: horizontal, vertical, and circular. Rotate the air cap to switch between these patterns to suit your application needs.

4.3 General Operation

  1. Hold the sprayer approximately 6-12 inches from the surface, maintaining a consistent distance.
  2. Press the trigger to begin spraying. Move the sprayer in smooth, even strokes to ensure uniform coverage.
  3. Release the trigger to stop spraying.

5. Maintenance

  6. Rinse the paint container and suction tube.
  7. Allow all components to dry completely before reassembling and storing.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Sprayer Clogs: Ensure paint is properly diluted and filtered before use. Thoroughly clean all components, especially the nozzle and air cap, after each use.
  • Uneven Spray Pattern: Check that the nozzle is correctly installed and not damaged. Adjust the air cap to select the desired spray pattern. Ensure consistent distance and movement during spraying.
