2. Product Overview
The Jafända JF068 Portable HEPA Air Purifier is designed to improve air quality in small to medium-sized spaces. It features a 3-in-1 filtration system, multiple fan speeds, ambient lighting, and an aromatherapy function.

3. Setup
Follow these steps to prepare your Jafända JF068 Air Purifier for first use:
- Unpack the Unit: Carefully remove the air purifier from its packaging.
- Remove Filter Packaging: Turn the unit upside down. Twist the base cover counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it. Take out the 3-in-1 composite filter and remove all plastic packaging.
- Install the Filter: Place the unwrapped filter back into the unit with the 'TOP' side facing upwards. Align the tabs on the base cover with the slots on the unit and twist clockwise to secure.
- Attach Handle: Insert the silicone handle into the designated slots on the sides of the unit until it snaps securely into place.
- Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the port on the back of the air purifier, then plug the adapter into a standard electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions
The Jafända JF068 features a user-friendly touch control panel on its top surface.

4.1 Power On/Off
- Press the Power Button () to turn the unit on or off.
4.2 Adjusting Fan Speed
- Press the Fan Speed Button () repeatedly to cycle through three regular fan speeds (Low, Medium, High) and a Sleep Mode.
- In Sleep Mode, the fan operates at its lowest speed (20dB) for quiet operation, and the ambient light can be turned off.

4.3 Ambient Light Control
- Press the Light Button () to activate the 7-color cycling ambient lights.
- Press again to lock the current color.
- Press a third time to turn the ambient light off completely.

4.4 Timer Setting
- Press the Timer Button () to set the operating time for 4, 8, or 12 hours. The unit will automatically turn off after the set time.
4.5 Child Lock Function
- To activate the Child Lock (), press and hold the Child Lock button for 3 seconds until you hear a beep. The control panel will be disabled.
- To deactivate, press and hold the Child Lock button again for 3 seconds.
4.6 Aromatherapy Function
- Locate the small aromatherapy compartment on the top surface of the unit.
- Open the compartment and add a few drops of your preferred essential oil (not included) onto the aromatherapy pad.
- Close the compartment. The fan will diffuse the scent into the air along with purified air.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Filter Replacement
The air purifier is equipped with a filter replacement indicator. When the indicator turns red, it is time to replace the composite filter.
- It is recommended to replace the filter every 3-6 months, or more frequently in environments with high odors or smoke.
- To replace, unplug the unit, twist off the base cover, remove the old filter, insert a new Jafända JF068 Filter (search for "Jafända JF068 Filter"), and secure the base cover.
- After replacing the filter, press and hold the Filter Reset Button () for 3 seconds until the indicator light turns off.
5.2 Cleaning the Unit
- Wipe the exterior of the air purifier with a soft, dry cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- The pre-filter layer of the composite filter can be gently cleaned with a vacuum cleaner to remove large dust particles, but the entire filter should still be replaced as recommended.
6. Troubleshooting
