2. Safety Information

5. Setup and Installation
5.1 DIN Rail Mounting
The TONGOU Smart Switch is designed for standard 35mm/1.38in DIN rail installation. It is recommended to install it in a non-metallic distribution box to avoid signal interference.

5.2 Wiring Instructions
Before wiring, ensure the main power supply is turned OFF to prevent electrical shock.
- Identify the Line (L) and Neutral (N) wires from your power source and the load.
- Connect the incoming Line (L) wire to the 'L Power' terminal and the incoming Neutral (N) wire to the 'N Power' terminal on the top of the switch.
- Connect the outgoing Line (L) wire to the 'L Load' terminal and the outgoing Neutral (N) wire to the 'N Load' terminal on the bottom of the switch.
- Ensure all connections are secure. The maximum wiring capacity is 10 mm² for both power and load sides.
- Important Note: This is a 1P+N switch. The Neutral (N) pole is not switched and cannot be cut off by the device. Ensure your electrical system is compatible.

5.3 App Installation and Device Pairing
To utilize the smart features, download the "Smart Life" or "Tuya" app on your smartphone. These apps are available on the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android).
- Download and install the "Smart Life" or "Tuya" app.
- Register or log in to your account.
- Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Power on the TONGOU Smart Switch. The signal light should be flashing blue, indicating pairing mode. If not, press and hold the power button on the switch for 5-10 seconds until it flashes rapidly.
- In the app, tap the '+' icon (usually in the top right corner) to add a device.
- Select 'Electrical Switch' or 'Circuit Breaker (Wi-Fi)' from the device list.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the switch to your Wi-Fi network. You will need to enter your Wi-Fi password.
- Once connected, the signal light on the switch will turn solid blue.
