4. Setup

  2. Connect the Charger to the Battery:
    • Connect the RED positive (+) clamp to the positive (+) battery terminal.
    • Connect the BLACK negative (-) clamp to the negative (-) battery terminal.

    Ensure a secure connection. If connecting to a vehicle battery, connect the negative clamp to the vehicle chassis away from the battery and fuel line if the battery is not removed from the vehicle.

  3. Connect to Power: Plug the charger's AC power cord into a standard AC 100-240V, 50/60Hz electrical outlet. The charger will power on, and the LCD display will illuminate.

5.1. Selecting a Charging Mode

Press the MODE button to select the correct charging program for your battery:

  • CAR Mode: For standard 12V lead-acid automotive batteries.
  • AGM Mode: For 12V AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) batteries.
  • MOTO Mode: For 12V lead-acid motorcycle batteries.
  • LiFePO4 Mode: For 12V Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries.
  • Repair Mode: For 12V lead-acid batteries that are sulfated or stratified. Do NOT use this mode for lithium batteries.

The selected mode will be indicated on the LCD display. The charger will automatically begin the charging process.

5.2. Pulse Reconditioning (Repair Mode)

The 'Repair' mode is designed to restore lost performance in 12V lead-acid batteries by detecting and addressing sulfation and acid stratification. This process can extend the lifespan of your battery and improve engine starting efficiency.

Important: Only use 'Repair' mode for 12V lead-acid batteries. Using it on lithium batteries is strictly prohibited and can cause damage.
