1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before using this heater and retain for future reference. Failure to follow these instructions may result in fire, electric shock, injury to persons, or property damage.

  • Do not use this heater in bathrooms, laundry areas, or similar indoor locations where water may be present.
  • Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
  • This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
  • Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating unattended.
  • Always unplug heater when not in use.
  • Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
  • Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
  • To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
  • This heater has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
  • Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
  • Do not use this heater with any solid-state speed control device.
  • Do not cover the heater. Covering the heater can cause overheating and fire.

3. Setup and Placement

Unpacking:

  1. Carefully remove the heater from its packaging.
  2. Remove all packaging materials, including any protective films or stickers.
  3. Inspect the heater for any signs of damage. If damaged, do not operate and contact customer support.

Placement:

  • Place the heater on a firm, level surface to ensure stability and proper operation of the tip-over switch.
  • Ensure there is at least 3 feet (0.9 meters) of clear space around the heater from walls, furniture, curtains, and other combustible materials.
  • Do not place the heater directly below a power outlet.
  • Ensure the power cord is not pinched or placed under heavy objects.

4. Operating Instructions

Control Panel and Remote Control:

The heater can be operated using the touch controls on the top panel or the included remote control. Ensure AAA batteries are installed in the remote control.

Power On/Off:

  • Plug the heater into a 120V AC, 60Hz grounded wall outlet.
  • Press the Power button (Power button icon) on the control panel or remote to turn the heater on or off.

Mode Selection:

Press the Mode button (Mode button icon) to cycle through the following modes:

  • High Heat (HI): Provides 1500W heating.
  • Low Heat (LO): Provides lower wattage heating.
  • ECO Mode: Automatically adjusts heating power to maintain the set temperature, optimizing energy consumption.
  • Fan Only: Circulates air without heating.

Temperature Adjustment:

  • In High Heat, Low Heat, or ECO Mode, press the '+' or '-' buttons on the control panel or remote to set your desired temperature between 59°F and 95°F.
  • The heater will automatically turn on or off to maintain the set temperature.

Oscillation Function:

  • Press the Oscillation button (Oscillation button icon) on the control panel or remote to activate or deactivate the 70° oscillation feature.

Timer Function:

  • Press the Timer button (Timer button icon) to set the auto shut-off timer from 1 to 12 hours. Each press increases the timer by one hour.
  • The heater will automatically turn off after the set time expires.

Child Lock:

  • Press and hold the Child Lock button (Child Lock button icon) for a few seconds to activate or deactivate the child lock. When activated, the control panel buttons will be unresponsive.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your heater.

Cleaning:

  1. Always turn off the heater and unplug it from the power outlet before cleaning.
  2. Allow the heater to cool down completely.
  3. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces of the heater. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  4. Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to gently remove dust from the air intake and exhaust grilles.
  5. Ensure the heater is completely dry before plugging it back in and operating.

Storage:

  • If storing the heater for an extended period, clean it thoroughly as described above.
  • Store the heater in its original packaging or a suitable container in a cool, dry place.
  • Avoid placing heavy objects on top of the heater during storage.

6. Troubleshooting

If your heater is not operating correctly, please refer to the following common issues and solutions:

  • Timer function expired.
  • Ensure the heater is on a flat, stable surface.
  • Unplug the heater, wait 30 minutes for it to cool down, then plug it back in.
  • Check if the timer was set. Reset if necessary.
No heat, but fan is running.
  • Heater is in Fan Only mode.
  • Temperature setting is lower than room temperature.
  • Press the Mode button to select High Heat, Low Heat, or ECO mode.
  • Increase the desired temperature setting above the current room temperature.
