Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble your Epecoya ZL0037 dining table. It is recommended to have two people for assembly.

1. Unpack and Identify Parts: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Lay them out on a protected surface and compare them against the parts list in the assembly guide.
2. Assemble the Pedestal Base: Connect the various sections of the cross pedestal base using the provided hardware. Ensure all connections are secure but do not fully tighten screws until the base is fully assembled.
3. Attach Base to Tabletop: Carefully place the main tabletop section upside down on a soft, protected surface. Align the assembled pedestal base with the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the tabletop. Secure the base to the tabletop using the appropriate screws and bolts.
4. Install Extension Mechanism (if not pre-assembled): If the extension rails are not already attached to the tabletop sections, follow the specific instructions in your included assembly guide to install them. Ensure they slide smoothly.
5. Insert Extension Leaf: If assembling in the extended position, slide the extension leaf into the guide rails between the main tabletop sections.
6. Final Tightening: Once all components are in place and aligned, carefully tighten all screws and bolts. Do not overtighten.
7. Position the Table: With assistance, carefully flip the table upright and move it to its desired location.

Operating Instructions: Extending and Retracting the Table

The Epecoya ZL0037 table features an extendable design to accommodate different seating needs.

To Extend the Table (from 43" Round to 59" Oval):

1. Clear the tabletop of all items.
2. Gently pull the two halves of the tabletop apart. The smooth guide rails will allow them to separate, revealing the central storage area for the extension leaf.
3. Retrieve the extension leaf from its storage compartment.
4. Place the extension leaf into the gap between the two tabletop halves, ensuring it aligns with the guide pins.
5. Push the two tabletop halves back together until they are flush with the extension leaf and securely locked.

To Retract the Table (from 59" Oval to 43" Round):

1. Clear the tabletop of all items.
2. Gently pull the two halves of the tabletop apart.
3. Remove the extension leaf and store it in the designated compartment within the table's base.
4. Push the two main tabletop halves back together until they meet and form the compact round shape.
