2. Safety Information

Please read all safety instructions carefully before assembly and use.

• Always follow the assembly instructions carefully. This desk is large and heavy, so it may require two people to assemble and move.
• Ensure the desk is properly anchored to the floor to prevent tipping, especially when using the top shelves or drawers.
• Keep the desk away from heat sources.
• Do not place heavy objects on the shelves that could cause them to tip over.
• Do not overload the desk or shelves beyond their intended capacity.
• Keep liquids away from electrical components, including the power outlets and LED lights.

4. Setup and Assembly

The AODK L-Shaped Gaming Desk is designed for easy assembly, but it is recommended that two people work together for installation due to its size and weight. Step-by-step instructions are included with your product. Please note that assembly tools are not included.

4.1 Reversible Design

This desk features a reversible design, allowing you to install the hutch and drawer unit on either the left or right side to best fit your room layout and personal preference. Plan your desired configuration before starting assembly.

4.2 Assembling the Fabric Drawers

The desk includes four fabric drawers for storage. Follow the instructions provided to assemble these drawers and insert them into the designated compartments.

4.3 Adjustable Feet

The desk is equipped with adjustable feet to ensure stability on uneven surfaces. Adjust each foot individually until the desk is level and stable.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 LED Light Strip Operation

The desk features a detachable LED light strip with 10 colors, 10 dynamic modes, and 8 brightness levels. Use the inline controller to customize your lighting experience.

How to Control:

• Static Color Button (C): Press once to switch to static color mode. Each subsequent press changes the color.
• Dynamic Mode Button (M): Press once to switch to dynamic mode. Each subsequent press changes the dynamic mode. Press and hold for 3 seconds to enter demo mode, which cycles through various dynamic modes.
• Speed & Brightness and Power Button (S/B):
  • In static mode, press to adjust light bar brightness. Each press cycles through brightness levels.
  • In dynamic mode, press to adjust dynamic mode speed. Each press cycles through speed levels.
  • Press and hold to shut down the strip when it is on. Press to turn it on when the strip is off.

The product has a power-off memory function, allowing the strip to restore the last color, brightness, and mode upon next power-on.

5.2 Built-in Power Outlets and USB Ports

The desk includes a built-in power strip with 3 AC outlets (125V/12A) and 2 USB ports (5V/2A) for convenient charging and powering of your devices.

5.3 Storage Features

• Dual Top Display Shelves: Ideal for monitors, speakers, or decorative items.

6. Maintenance

To maintain the appearance and longevity of your AODK Gaming Desk, follow these simple care instructions:

• Cleaning: Wipe the desk surfaces with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the laminated finish.
• Dusting: Regularly dust all surfaces, including the hutch and shelves, to prevent buildup.
• Inspection: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight. Retighten if necessary.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your AODK Gaming Desk, refer to the following common solutions:

• Desk Wobbles: Ensure all assembly screws are tightened. Adjust the leveling feet on the bottom of the desk legs to stabilize it on uneven floors.
• LED Lights Not Working: Check that the USB power cable for the LED strip is securely connected to a working USB port (either on the desk's power strip or another power source). Verify that the power button on the inline controller is pressed.
• Power Outlets/USB Ports Not Functioning: Ensure the desk's main power cord is securely plugged into a functional wall outlet. Check for any tripped circuit breakers.
• Drawers Not Sliding Smoothly: Ensure the fabric drawers are correctly assembled and inserted. Check for any obstructions in the drawer compartments.
