Setup

1. Charging the Battery

  1. Insert the 1350mAh batteries into the dual battery charger.
  2. Connect the charger to a USB power source using the provided cable.
  3. The indicator light on the charger will show charging status. A full charge typically takes approximately 120 minutes.

2. Inserting the Battery and Micro SD Card

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the camera.
  2. Insert a fully charged 1350mAh battery, ensuring correct polarity.
  3. Insert a Micro SD card (up to 256GB, not included) into the designated slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is formatted correctly (FAT32 or exFAT).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

3. Powering On/Off

  • To power on: Press and hold the Power/Mode button (usually on the front or top) for 3 seconds.
  • To power off: Press and hold the Power/Mode button for 3 seconds.

Operating Instructions

1. Navigating the Menus

  • The Hiicam Speed10 features a 2-inch rear IPS touch screen and a 1.4-inch front display.
  • Use the touch screen to navigate through modes and settings. Swipe left/right or tap icons to select options.
  • The front screen is useful for framing selfies or vlogging.

2. Video Recording

  • Press the Power/Mode button repeatedly to cycle to Video Mode.
  • Press the Shutter/OK button to start recording. Press again to stop.
  • The camera supports 4K resolution at 60 frames per second (FPS).

3. Photo Capture

  • Press the Power/Mode button repeatedly to cycle to Photo Mode.
  • Press the Shutter/OK button to take a photo.
  • The camera captures 20MP images.

4. Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS)

  • EIS helps to stabilize footage, reducing shake and blur.
  • EIS is supported at 4K30FPS resolution or lower. It is not available at 4K60FPS.
  • To enable/disable EIS, navigate to the video settings menu and select the EIS option.

5. Waterproof Operation

  • The camera is waterproof up to 131 feet (40 meters) only when enclosed in its waterproof housing.
  • Before submerging, ensure the waterproof housing is properly sealed and free from debris.
  • After underwater use, rinse the housing with fresh water and allow it to dry completely.

6. Remote Control and WiFi Connectivity
