Setup
1. Installing Switches
The Akko 5075B features hot-swappable 5-pin sockets, allowing for easy installation and removal of mechanical switches without soldering.
- Align the pins of your desired mechanical switch with the holes in the PCB (Printed Circuit Board). Ensure the switch is oriented correctly.
- Gently push the switch straight down until it clicks into place. Do not force the switch, as this may bend the pins.
- Repeat for all desired switch positions.

Maintenance
Cleaning the Keyboard
- Disconnect the keyboard from all power sources before cleaning.

- Wipe the keycaps and keyboard frame with a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth. Avoid excessive moisture.
- Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents.
Switch and Keycap Care
When hot-swapping switches, ensure they are inserted straight to avoid bending pins. Store spare switches and keycaps in a clean, dry environment.
Troubleshooting
- Keyboard not responding:
- Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected or the 2.4GHz receiver is plugged in, or Bluetooth is paired.
- Check the mode switch on the keyboard to ensure it's set to the correct connectivity mode.
- Recharge the keyboard if using wireless modes, as low battery can cause connectivity issues.
- Try connecting to a different USB port or computer to rule out port or system issues.
- Keys not registering:
- Ensure the switch is fully seated in its socket. Gently press down on the keycap.
- If a specific key is not working, try hot-swapping the switch with a known working switch from another key to diagnose if the issue is with the switch or the socket.
- Check for bent pins on the switch if it's not inserting correctly.
- RGB lighting not working/incorrect:
- Ensure the keyboard is powered on.
- Check VIA software settings for lighting configurations.
- Refer to the full manual for onboard RGB control shortcuts to reset or change effects.
- Bluetooth pairing issues:
- Ensure the keyboard is in Bluetooth pairing mode.
