4. Setup

4.1 Placement

  • Place the dehumidifier on a firm, level surface capable of supporting its weight when the water tank is full.
  • Ensure there is at least 20 cm (8 inches) of clear space around all sides of the unit to allow for proper air circulation.
  • Avoid placing the unit near heat sources, in direct sunlight, or in areas where it may be exposed to splashing water.
  • For optimal performance, close all doors and windows in the room where the dehumidifier is operating.

4.2 Power Connection

  • Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
  • Ensure the voltage matches the specifications of the unit.

4.3 Drainage Options

Your dehumidifier offers two drainage methods:

4.3.1 Manual Drainage (Water Tank)

  • The unit will collect water in its 4.5-liter internal water tank.
  • When the tank is full, the dehumidifier will automatically shut off, and an indicator light will illuminate.
  • Carefully remove the water tank, empty it, and reinsert it securely. The unit will resume operation.

4.3.2 Continuous Drainage (Drain Hose)

  • For continuous operation without emptying the tank, attach the included drain hose to the continuous drain outlet on the back of the unit.
  • Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow gravity to drain the water into a suitable floor drain or container.
  • Do not allow the hose to be kinked or blocked, as this will prevent proper drainage.
