Assembly Instructions

The Rywell Heated Cat House is designed for tool-free installation. Follow these steps to assemble your cat house:

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and verify against the package contents list.
  2. Assemble the Base Frame: Connect the base support pipes using the 4-way and 3-way elbow connectors to form the elevated base structure. Ensure all connections are secure.
  3. Attach the Cat House Frame: Insert the straight, short, medium, long, and extra-long pipes into the designated sleeves within the fabric shell to create the house's internal frame.
  4. Secure Fabric to Frame: Ensure the fabric shell is properly stretched over the frame and secured, paying attention to the roof and side panels.
  5. Install Heating Pad: Place the heating pad inside the cat house. Cover it with the soft velvet cover. Route the power cord through the designated opening, ensuring it is not pinched.
  6. Position Terrace: Attach the terrace frame to the main structure as indicated in the diagrams.
  7. Final Placement: Place the assembled cat house in your desired outdoor location. Use the ground stakes to anchor the house firmly to the ground, especially in windy conditions.

Operating Instructions

Heating Pad Operation

  1. Connect Power: Plug the heating pad's power cord into a suitable outdoor-rated electrical outlet.
  2. Power On/Off: Press the Power Button on the controller to turn the heating pad on or off. The digital display will illuminate.
  3. Adjust Temperature: Use the + and - buttons to select your desired temperature. The heating pad offers 5 adjustable temperature settings ranging from 86°F (30°C) to 131°F (55°C).
  4. Set Timer: Press the Timer Button to cycle through the available timer settings: 2H, 8H, 12H, 24H, or 0H (Non-stop).
    • 2H/8H/12H/24H: The heating pad will operate for the selected duration and then automatically turn off.
    • 0H (Non-stop): The heating pad will heat continuously for 24 hours as long as power is supplied. After 24 hours, it will automatically turn off. To continue heating, you must reset the timer or power cycle the unit.

All-Season Use

The heating pad is removable. In warmer weather, remove the heating pad to allow the breathable mesh terrace to provide excellent airflow, creating a cool lounging spot for your cat.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning the Cat House: The 900D Oxford fabric with PVC coating can be easily wiped clean with a damp cloth to remove stains and dirt.
  • Cleaning the Heating Pad Cover: The soft velvet cover of the heating pad is removable and washable. Follow the care instructions on the label for best results.
