Why did my DGUAM V1 dehumidifier overflow water onto the floor and fail to shut off when the tank was full?

3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking and Placement

Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging.
Place the unit upright on a firm, level surface in the desired location.
Ensure there is at least 8 inches (20 cm) of space around the unit for proper air circulation.
For optimal performance, close all doors and windows in the room where the dehumidifier is operating.

3.2 Power Connection

Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The unit will enter standby mode.

3.3 Drainage Options

3.3.1 Manual Drainage (Water Tank)

Remove the rubber stopper from the drain outlet.

Gently pull out the water tank from the front of the unit.
Use the integrated handle to carry the tank to a sink or drain.
Pour out the collected water.
Slide the empty tank back into the dehumidifier until it clicks into place.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your dehumidifier, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
