4. Setup and Assembly Instructions
Assembly is required for this kitchen island. Please follow the detailed steps provided in the video below and refer to the included accessory kit for all hardware.

General Assembly Steps:
- Unpack and Identify Parts: Lay out all components and hardware. Refer to the parts list in the included paper manual to ensure all pieces are present.
- Assemble Main Frame: Connect the side panels and base using the provided fasteners. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Install Drawer Slides: Attach the drawer slides to the designated panels of the main frame.
- Attach Casters: Securely screw the four industrial casters to the bottom of the kitchen island. Ensure the two lockable casters are positioned for easy access.
- Assemble Drop-Leaf Mechanism: Attach the hinges and support brackets for the drop-leaf countertop.
- Install Back Panel: Slide the back panel into the grooves of the main frame and secure it.
- Attach Countertop: Place the main countertop onto the assembled frame and secure it with screws.
- Install Power Strip: Insert the power strip into the pre-cut opening on the countertop and secure it.
- Assemble Drawer: Construct the drawer box and attach the handle. Install the drawer slides to the drawer.
- Install Cabinet Doors: Attach the hinges to the cabinet doors and then to the main frame. Adjust as needed for proper alignment.
- Insert Adjustable Shelf: Place the adjustable shelf into the cabinet at your desired height using the shelf pins.
- Attach Spice Rack and Towel Bar: Secure the 3-tier spice rack and towel bar to the side of the island.

5. Operating Instructions
Moving the Kitchen Island:
To move the kitchen island, unlock the two lockable casters by flipping their levers. Gently push the cart to your desired location. Once positioned, lock the casters to prevent unintended movement.
Using the Drop-Leaf Countertop:
To extend the drop-leaf, lift the leaf until it is level with the main countertop. Pull out the support brackets from underneath the main countertop to hold the leaf in place. To fold it down, push the support brackets back in and gently lower the leaf.

Utilizing the Power Outlets:
The integrated power strip provides 3 AC outlets. Plug the island's main power cord into a standard wall outlet. You can then plug small kitchen appliances or electronic devices directly into the outlets on the countertop.

Adjusting Cabinet Shelf:
The shelf inside the main cabinet is adjustable to three different heights. To adjust, remove any items from the shelf, lift the shelf, and reposition the shelf pins to the desired height. Then, place the shelf back onto the pins.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance will help prolong the life and appearance of your kitchen island.
- Cleaning: Wipe surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that may damage the finish.
- Spills: Clean up spills immediately to prevent staining or damage to the engineered wood.
- Hardware: Periodically check all screws and fasteners to ensure they are tight. Retighten if necessary.
- Casters: Keep casters free of debris to ensure smooth rolling.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your kitchen island, refer to the following common solutions:
- Wobbly Unit: Ensure all assembly screws are fully tightened. Check that the unit is on a level surface. Adjust casters if necessary.
- Drawer Not Sliding Smoothly: Verify that the drawer slides are correctly installed and aligned. Ensure no obstructions are in the slide mechanism.
- Power Outlets Not Working: Check if the main power cord is securely plugged into a functional wall outlet. Ensure the power strip itself is not damaged.
- Drop-Leaf Not Stable: Confirm that the support brackets are fully extended and locked into place when the leaf is up.
