1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Skeri Electric Trike ET04. This manual provides essential information for the safe assembly, operation, and maintenance of your new electric tricycle. Please read this manual thoroughly before your first ride to ensure optimal performance and safety.

2. Safety Information

Your safety is paramount. Always wear a helmet when riding. Ensure all components are securely fastened before each use. Adhere to local traffic laws and regulations. Avoid riding at night without proper lighting. Factors such as load weight, terrain, road conditions, wind, ambient temperature, and riding style can influence the trike's range and speed.

3. Package Contents

Before assembly, verify that all components are present in the package:

4. Setup and Assembly

The Skeri Electric Trike ET04 is 90% pre-assembled. Follow these steps for final assembly:

1. Remove E-bike from Carton: Carefully remove all parts from the carton. Check all protective packing material before discarding the carton.
2. Install the Rear Derailleur: Secure the rear derailleur to its slot on the rear frame. Tighten the hex bolt with the 4 mm hex wrench.
3. Install the Rear Frame to the Main Frame: Loosen the nuts beside the long slots on both sides of the main and rear frames. Turn the main frame upside down, aligning its slots and bolts with the slots on the rear frame. Slide the main frame onto the rear frame. Partially tighten the 4 nuts with a 17 mm wrench (not included). Fully tighten them later after chain installation.
4. Install the Rear Wheels: Remove the nut and washer from the O-shaped hub on the left side and the D-shaped hub on the right side of the rear frame by hand. Place them nearby. Connect the left wheel with the O-shaped slot to the O-shaped hub and the right wheel with the D-shaped slot to the D-shaped hub. Secure the nut on the wheel with a 22mm wrench and then put the wheel hub cover on it.
5. Install the Handlebar and Reflector: Slide the steerer tube into the head tube of the main frame until your desired height is reached. Adjust the angle of the handlebars until they become perpendicular to the front wheel. Retighten the top bolt to secure the handlebars to the head tube.
6. Install the Front Wheel: Loosen the nuts on the protective bar preinstalled on the front fork by hand and then remove the bar from the fork. Fit the wheel into the front wheel, allowing the fork to catch its axle snugly between the clips and its hub. Install the anti-rotation washer and the nut, making sure the anti-rotation washer is locked into the dropout of the fork. Retighten the nut on each side with the multifunctional wrench to lock the front wheel in place. Insert the motor waterproof cable. Make sure to insert it tightly. After inserting it, check whether it is fixed.
7. Install the Front Fender and Front Light: Remove the screws on the fork for fender stay and front light. Fix the position of the headlight, align the headlight with the holes on the front fender and the front fork, and tighten it with screws. (The front fender and the front light are fixed with the same screw). Fix the fender stays to the mount on the fork with a screw driver, then fully tighten the screws.
8. Install the Chain: Disassemble the chain guard. Position one end of the chain around the front chain wheel. Pass the other end of the chain through the guide pulley of the rear derailleur, arranging the chain in an S shape. Run the chain around the largest rear cog. Join both ends of the chain using the chain links. Pull the chain taut with both hands, testing that it cannot be torn apart. Install the chain to the front chain wheel. Tighten all the screws on the chain guard and assemble it back.
9. Install Brake Cable and Derailleur Cable: Insert the rear brake cable into the brake screw, and then tightened to the appropriate position. Tie the brake cable to the frame with a zip tie. Thread the exposed part of the derailleur cable into the outer casing, pass the cable through the barrel adjuster on the rear derailleur. Re-tighten the nut with the multifunctional wrench to secure the cable in place. Install the cable protecting cap and use a pliers to clamp it tightly.
10. Install the Rear Fenders: Install the fender stay to the fender with a screw driver. Install the rear reflector on the rear fender. Remove the 2 sets of nuts and bolts from the fender support on the left side of the rear frame. Place them nearby. Place the left rear fender over the left rear wheel, aligning its stay with the fender support and taking care not to allow the stay to touch the tire or wheel rim. Replace the bolts and nuts, tightening them with the Phillips screwdriver and multifunctional wrench. Install the right rear fender over the right rear wheel following the same steps.
11. Install the Rear Basket: Remove the 4 sets of nuts and bolts from the top of the rear frame by hand. Place them nearby. Unfold the five sides of the rear basket. Connect all sides of the basket by inserting the mounting bars into their slots as shown. Attach the casters to the bottom corners of the rear basket using their bolts. Replace the nuts onto the bolts, tightening them with the multifunctional wrench to secure the casters in place. Position the basket onto its mount and secure it using the locking clamp. Fasten the lock of the basket as needed.
12. Install the Pedals: Attach the pedals to the crank arms on the appropriate side, screwing them into place. Tighten their locking nuts with the multifunctional wrench.
13. Install the Saddle: Loosen the bolt and pull the lever on the saddle clamp at the top of the seat tube. Insert the post of the saddle into the seat tube until your preferred height is reached. Re-tighten the bolt and push the lever back to secure the saddle firmly.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

To power on the trike, turn the key to the 'ON' position and press the power button on the LCD display. To power off, reverse the process.

5.2 Riding Modes

The Skeri Electric Trike ET04 features multiple riding modes for diverse conditions:

• Electric Mode: Full electric power via throttle.
• Pedal-Assist Mode (PAS): Provides motor assistance while pedaling. The trike is equipped with 5 PAS and 3 PAS modes; the rider must manually switch between these two modes.
• Cruise Mode: Maintains a set speed without continuous throttle or pedaling.
• Manual Mode: Ride like a traditional bicycle without motor assistance.
• Walk Mode: Provides low-speed assistance for walking alongside the trike.

5.3 LCD Display

The intuitive LCD display provides real-time monitoring of essential riding data:

• Battery Status
• Current Speed
• Pedal Assist Modes (PAS)
• Total Mileage

5.4 Braking System

The trike is equipped with mechanical disc brakes for reliable stopping power. The advanced differential control system, combined with a low center of gravity, ensures confident handling and enhanced safety.

6. Battery Information and Charging

The Skeri Electric Trike ET04 is powered by a long-lasting 48V 13Ah removable battery, delivering up to 50 miles per charge. The battery is UL Certified, guaranteeing top-tier electrical and battery system safety.

6.1 Charging

A full charge takes approximately 4-6 hours. The removable battery can be charged on or off the trike for convenience.

6.2 Battery Removal

To remove the battery, unlock it with the provided key and carefully slide it out of its compartment.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your Skeri Electric Trike ET04.

• Cleaning: Use a damp cloth to wipe down the frame and components. Avoid high-pressure washing directly on electrical parts.
• Tires: Regularly check tire pressure and inflate to the recommended PSI.

• Chain: Keep the chain clean and lubricated for smooth operation.
