3. Setup and Pairing

3.1 Initial Power-On and Charging

1. Ensure both the transmitter and receiver units have power.
2. Plug the probe cable into the transmitter unit.
3. Turn on the transmitter using its power switch. The bottom indicator light will flash red.
4. Connect the receiver to an AC power outlet using the provided power adapter.
5. Fully charge the transmitter via the adapter cable of the receiver before outdoor installation. Charging takes approximately 8 hours. The transmitter will show a red light while charging, which turns green when fully charged.

3.2 Pairing the Transmitter and Receiver

1. Press and hold the "PAIRED" button on the receiver for 3+ seconds to enter pairing mode. The "PAIRED channel" indicator will light up, the "UNPAIRED channel" indicator will not light up, and the "start to pair channel" indicator will flash.
2. Click the "PAIRED" button again to select a channel for your sensor to pair with.
3. Slide your mobile phone or a metal object parallel to the probe, or click the "Quick Paired" button on the transmitter. The transmitter should flash a light, and the next channel indicator should flash on the receiver. If these conditions occur, the pairing is successful.
4. After successful pairing, click the "RESET" button to exit pairing mode.
5. To verify pairing, slide your mobile phone or a metal object parallel to the probe again. The receiver should sound an alert.

4. Installation

4.1 Probe & Transmitter Installation

1. Assemble the PVC mounting tubes.
2. Run the probe cable through the assembled tube and plug it into the transmitter unit.
3. Stand the transmitter on the ground at your desired location.
4. Ensure the probe is buried approximately 0.5 feet (6 inches) underground. The probe should lie parallel to the edge of the driveway.
5. The length of the cable between the probe and the transmitter is 10 feet. Ensure the distance between the two is not too far to maintain connection.
6. To prevent the transmitter from shaking on the mounting tube, use the included zip tie to tighten the junction between the transmitter and the tube.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Melodies & Volume Setting

• The receiver offers 12 different melodies. Click the music note button on the receiver to cycle through and choose a chime for all your sensors. Note: Each sensor cannot be set with different tones.
• There are 4 volume levels available, including a MUTE mode. Click the volume button to adjust the loudness.

5.2 Usage Scenario

Once installed and paired, the system will alert you when a vehicle or large metal object enters the detection zone. The transmitter launches an alarm signal to the inside receiver when the probe detects metal movement. The receiver will then ring, and the corresponding channel indicator on the screen will flash for 1 minute.

6. Maintenance

• Ensure the solar panel on the transmitter is kept clean and free from debris (leaves, snow, dirt) to ensure optimal charging.
• Regularly check the low battery indicator on the receiver. If the sensor battery is low, fully charge the transmitter using the provided USB cable.
• Periodically inspect the probe and transmitter installation to ensure they remain securely in place and the probe is correctly buried.

7. Troubleshooting

• Receiver Alerts Without Vehicle Detection: If the receiver alerts when no vehicle is present, ensure the sensor is correctly installed and the sensitivity is not set too high. The system is designed to ignore animals and leaves.
• Transmitter Not Flashing Light / Receiver Not Alerting:
  1. Confirm both units are powered on and the receiver is plugged into AC power.
  2. If the bottom indicator of the transmitter doesn't flash a light and the inside receiver doesn't alert when a vehicle passes the probe, please shorten the distance between the probe and the driveway. Also, confirm the sensitivity is in the high level.
  3. If the transmitter flashes a light when the probe detects motion, but the inside receiver doesn't alert, please shorten the distance between the sensor (probe & transmitter) and the receiver, and continue testing the signal range.
