6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, remove the batteries to prevent leakage. Store the meter in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Sensor Care: Keep the sensor area clean and free from dust or debris to ensure accurate readings. Avoid touching the sensor directly.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Inaccurate readings | Device not acclimated to environment; dirty sensor; low battery. | Allow 20 minutes for acclimation; clean sensor; replace batteries. |
| Device does not power on | Dead or incorrectly installed batteries. | Check battery polarity; replace with fresh AAA batteries. |
| Display is dim or flickering | Low battery. | Replace batteries. |
| Auto shutdown occurs too quickly | Auto shutdown feature is active. | Refer to the full user manual for instructions on how to disable the auto shutdown function if continuous operation is needed. |
