4.4 Smart Eye Protection

5. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your projector.

5.1 Cleaning the Lens

  • Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical lenses.
  • Gently wipe the lens surface to remove dust or smudges. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or excessive force.
  • For stubborn marks, a small amount of lens cleaning solution can be applied to the cloth (not directly to the lens).

5.2 Cleaning the Projector Body

  • Wipe the exterior of the projector with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish.

5.3 Ventilation

  • Ensure the projector's ventilation ports are clear and unobstructed at all times.
  • Do not place the projector on soft surfaces that may block airflow.
  • Adequate airflow is crucial for dissipating heat and maintaining performance.

5.4 Storage

  • When not in use for extended periods, store the projector in a cool, dry, dust-free environment.
  • Consider using the original packaging or a protective cover to prevent dust accumulation.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Yaber K300s projector, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

ProblemPossible Cause / Solution
No Power
  • Ensure the power cord is securely connected to both the projector and the power outlet.
  • Verify the power outlet is functional.
  • Try a different power cord if available.
No Image / Blank Screen
  • Check if the projector is powered on.
  • Ensure the correct input source is selected (e.g., HDMI 1, Google TV).
  • Verify the HDMI cable (if used) is properly connected and not damaged.
  • Check if the eye protection sensor has been triggered (move away from the lens).
Blurry Image
  • Allow the auto-focus feature to complete its adjustment (approx. 3 seconds).
  • Ensure the projector is placed on a stable surface and not vibrating.
  • Clean the projector lens if it appears dusty or smudged.
Distorted Image (Trapezoid)
  • The auto keystone correction should resolve this. If not, try slightly repositioning the projector.
  • Ensure the projector is placed directly in front of the screen/wall, not at an extreme angle.
No Sound
  • Increase the volume on the projector and the connected source device.
  • Check audio output settings in the projector's menu (ensure internal speakers are selected if desired).
  • If using Bluetooth, ensure the device is properly paired and connected.
Wi-Fi Connection Issues
  • Ensure the Wi-Fi password is entered correctly.
  • Restart your Wi-Fi router.
  • Move the projector closer to the Wi-Fi router or use an Ethernet cable for a wired connection.

If the problem persists after trying these solutions, please contact Yaber customer support.
