Introduction
This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and efficient operation, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your BILT HARD Electric Pressure Washer. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product and retain it for future reference.
Important Safety Information
- Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection, when operating the pressure washer.
- Ensure the power cord and connections are intact and free from damage before each use. Do not operate with a damaged cord.
- Connect the unit to a properly grounded outlet. The GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) plug is designed for your safety; do not bypass or modify it.
- Never point the spray gun at people, pets, or electrical devices. High-pressure spray can cause serious injury.
- Keep children and bystanders away from the operating area.
- Do not operate the pressure washer in an explosive atmosphere, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust.
- Always turn off the pressure washer and disconnect it from the power source before performing any maintenance or cleaning tasks.
- Ensure the water supply is clean and free of debris to prevent damage to the pump.

Operating Instructions
Before operating, ensure all connections are secure and the water supply is turned on. The pressure washer features a Total Stop System (TSS) which automatically shuts off the motor when the trigger is released, prolonging pump life and saving energy.
- Connect Water Supply: Connect a garden hose (not included) to the garden hose connector on the pressure washer. Turn on the water supply fully.
- Purge Air from System: Squeeze the trigger on the spray gun for approximately 30 seconds to allow water to flow through and purge any air from the system.
- Connect Power: Plug the GFCI-safe power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Press the 'RESET' button on the GFCI plug if necessary.
- Turn On Pressure Washer: Switch the power button on the unit to the 'ON' position.
- Select Nozzle: Choose the appropriate quick-connect nozzle for your cleaning task.
- 15° (Yellow): High pressure, concentrated spray for tough stains on durable surfaces.
- 25° (Green): Medium pressure, versatile spray for general cleaning of various surfaces.
- 40° (White): Low pressure, wide spray for gentle cleaning or rinsing.
- Soap (Black): For applying detergent.
- Begin Cleaning: Aim the spray gun at the surface to be cleaned, ensuring a safe distance, and squeeze the trigger. Adjust distance and angle as needed.
- Total Stop System (TSS): The motor will stop automatically when the spray gun trigger is released and restart when the trigger is pressed again.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your pressure washer.
- Detergent Tank: The built-in detergent tank has a 0.9 L capacity. Fill with pressure washer-safe detergent for enhanced cleaning. Always rinse the tank thoroughly with clean water after each use to prevent residue buildup.
- Nozzle Cleaning: If a nozzle becomes clogged, turn off the pressure washer and disconnect the power. Use the included nozzle cleaning tool to clear any obstructions.
- Water Inlet Filter: Regularly check and clean the water inlet filter to prevent debris from entering the pump.
- Storage: Before storing, drain all water from the pump and hoses to prevent freezing and damage. Store the unit in a dry, frost-free area.
- GFCI Plug: Periodically test the GFCI plug by pressing the 'TEST' button, then 'RESET'. If it does not trip and reset, do not use the unit and have it inspected by a qualified technician.
