1. Introduction

The LOFREE Flow2 is a low-profile mechanical keyboard designed for versatility and durability. It features an aluminum alloy body, Void Linear Switches, and offers three connection modes: wired (USB-C), 2.4GHz wireless, and Bluetooth. 2. Setup

2.1 What's in the Box

Upon unboxing your LOFREE Flow2 keyboard, you will find the following items:

  • 1.5m USB-C Cable
  • 2.4GHz Receiver
  • 4 Replacement Keycaps (for Windows/macOS compatibility)

2.2 Connectivity

The Flow2 keyboard supports three connection modes: Wired (USB-C), 2.4GHz Wireless, and Bluetooth. A dedicated switch on the back of the keyboard allows you to select your preferred mode.

Power Switch and Mode Selection

The power switch is located on the back of the keyboard, concealed behind one of the flip-out feet. Toggle this switch to select between Wired, Bluetooth (BT), or 2.4GHz wireless modes.

Wired Mode

  1. Ensure the power switch on the back of the keyboard is set to the Wired position.
  2. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the keyboard's USB-C port and the other end to your computer.
  3. The keyboard will be automatically recognized by your system.

2.4GHz Wireless Mode

  1. Ensure the power switch on the back of the keyboard is set to the 2.4G position.
  2. Insert the 2.4GHz USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
  3. On the keyboard, press Fn + 4 to activate 2.4GHz mode. The keyboard should connect automatically.

Bluetooth Mode

  1. Ensure the power switch on the back of the keyboard is set to the BT position.
  2. On the keyboard, press Fn + 1, Fn + 2, or Fn + 3 to select a Bluetooth channel. The indicator light will flash, indicating pairing mode.
  3. On your device (computer, tablet, phone), navigate to Bluetooth settings and select "LOFREE Flow2" from the list of available devices to pair.

2.3 System Switch (Windows/macOS)

The Flow2 keyboard is compatible with both Windows/Android and macOS/iOS operating systems. You can switch between system layouts using the following key combinations:

  • For Windows / Android: Press and hold Fn + N.
  • For macOS / iOS: Press and hold Fn + M.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Side Touch Bar Functions

The LOFREE Flow2 features a side touch bar for quick adjustments to volume and screen brightness, as well as a lock function.

  • Volume Control: Swipe your finger up on the touch bar to increase volume, and swipe down to decrease it.
  • Screen Brightness: Hold down the Fn key and swipe your finger up on the touch bar to increase screen brightness, or swipe down to decrease it.
  • Lock Function: To prevent accidental touches, press and hold Fn + Spacebar for approximately 3 seconds to toggle the touch bar lock.

3.2 Backlight Settings

Adjust the keyboard's backlight to suit your preference.

  • Change Lighting Mode: Press Fn + Left Arrow or Fn + Right Arrow to cycle through different backlight modes (e.g., Steady On, Breathing, Off).
  • Adjust Brightness: Press Fn + Up Arrow to increase backlight brightness, and Fn + Down Arrow to decrease it.

4. Keycap and Switch Management

The LOFREE Flow2 keyboard comes with pre-installed Mac keycaps and includes additional Windows keycaps for customization. The switches are hot-swappable, allowing for easy replacement.

4.1 Swapping Keycaps

To change keycaps, use the included keycap puller:

  1. Insert both ends of the keycap puller into the gaps on either side of the keycap you wish to remove.
  2. Gently pull straight up until the keycap detaches.
  3. For larger keycaps (e.g., Spacebar, Enter, Shift), pull from both sides separately to prevent damage to the stabilizers.
  4. Align the new keycap with the switch stem and press down firmly until it clicks into place.

4.2 Removing Switches

The Flow2 features hot-swappable switches. To remove a switch, use a switch puller (not included, but typically comes with switch sets):

  1. First, remove the keycap as described above.
  2. Align the switch puller with the clips on the top and bottom of the switch.
  3. Gently squeeze the clips and pull the switch straight upward. Avoid twisting to prevent bending the pins.
  4. To install a new switch, align its pins with the holes on the PCB and press down firmly until it clicks into place. Ensure the pins are straight before inserting.

  • Keys Not Registering Correctly (Windows/macOS):

  • Touch Bar Issues:
